I've returned two of these recently. The non stick comes off a bit too easily - after just one use it started bubbling on one, and a patch came off on another.

Buy a carbon steel one... loads online (search!), or good choice in Chinese supermarkets around the country, shape, size, handles etc. might not be quite as cheap as this if including delivery, but far better.

Takes a couple of uses to get a good carbonised oil coating on, then as non stick as any other and will last a lifetime.

That's what I've found as well. I've returned two of them to Debenhams. Each time Debenhams tell me that they'll have to send it back to the manufacturer. It takes a couple of weeks but is replaced with a brand new one. So I'm on my third one now but this will be my last I think!

The problem with this wok is that as the coating starts to come loose you notice it when you're actually eating the food you prepared in it - little specs of teflon in your chow mein. Not nice!

Ditto, I must admit my coating never came off though, I just found that the surface wasn't none stick anything other than a gentle heat and the food would burn, anyway returned it.

We had one of these and it was rubbish. As others have said above, the non-stick coating comes off very easily. You see the name Ken Hom on a wok and you think it's going to be good - not in this case!
