Utterly charming and made from oak and oak veneer, this modern take on the traditional bookcase is a great way to add instant country chic to your home. Consisting of three shelves on top of a cupboard, it is the perfect size to complement a room without dominating it.

Oak has been a popular choice of timber for British furniture for hundreds of years. The wood has an attractive colour and grain, and is tough and hard-wearing.

As versatile as it is stylish, use it in the kitchen to show off your recipe books and favourite Willow Pattern server, or in the living room lined with your favourite hard-backs.

Finished to show off the beauty of the oak grain, this bookcase will blend beautifully with other pieces from the attractive Kensington range.

It is your responsibility to ensure that any products you order will fit into the room or place for which the product is finally intended. Please ensure that you have measured the space required for this item, including all access routes. See our Furniture Buying Guide for more details.

Brought a bookcase from Sainsbury's and would never buy from them again, crap quality and description on the website very vague. In this case it doesn't mention if it SOLID oak, just says oak and oak veneer. Also be weary when they say "Oak has been a popular choice of timber for British furniture for hundreds of years", this doesn't mean its made in Britain.
I also noticed that they didn't post my negative review and now of the opinion that they only publish positive reviews on the website.
Out of stock.

Got an Oak one of similar dimensions (but with 4 shelves and two drawers) from Ocean furniture in Basingstoke for £209 about 3 months back, very happy with that and when it comes to furniture I wouldnt trust mail order stuff as no idea of quality until it arrives.
