I've obviously missed a meeting: people keep posting negatively about Play recently but I've never had an issue. What's been the problem(s)?

I've not had any problems with Play either....

After ordering a few days later they send you an email saying your order is dispatched, you wait patiently for your order which never comes. You ring them up asking what the problem is. They tell you they can’t do anything untill21 days has passed. After 21 days pass you have to either ring them back or follow the link to the missing item. Then they take another 24 hours to send you an email which has your order name and date. You print it out send it through the post wait another 5 days. Get an email order dispatched. You’re thinking bingo it will be here soon.
Wrong 10 days pass no order ring them back to ask what’s going on. Reply you get “we’ve had high demand for the particular order it will be sent out when stock arrives”.
They make you go through hoops telling you they’ve sent something out which they never had stock for in the first place

Well between me and my mum we must have placed 100 orders with play and have never had a single problem.

In all honesty I haven't had a problem with them for nigh on 12 months now, so they must have sorted themselves out a bit. I don't think i've ordered more than 50 items total from play, but I've had various problems with maybe 10 of those orders, but like I said, not for a long while now.

depends on what you get and if they have it in stock. Ive never had a problem too until my 3 recent orders

Getting back to the OP's item - these are really quite neat little things.

As well as being a half-decent mouse, it's scrollwheel is a trackball which can be switched to control the pointer with the mouse being static (ideal where you have limited space) - and it works as a 'remote control' for media players as well (but then you can do that with any mouse really).

They are quite neat tho - and £20 is an OK price - the £40-odd list price is barking...
