Animal aficionados will be in their element with an overnight camping at the Eagle Heights wildlife park, among creatures including elegant bald eagles and huskies. Found within Kent’s Lullingstone Park, just a one-hour journey from the capital, the park is host to 100 birds of prey in both indoor and outdoor aviaries. During the overnight experience, guests can huddle around the campfire and interact with the huskies, all while immersing themselves in the park’s after-hours activities.

  • Arrival at 5pm
  • Guided tour with the huskies
  • After dinner, the huskies will join guests for the evening around the campfire

Key information
  • Camp beds are provided but customers must bring their own bedding
  • Sleeping bags and clothing suitable for the predicted temperatures are recommended; please note - temperatures drop in the evenings
  • Running water on site but no shower facilities
  • The tepees have solar lighting but bringing a torch for the outside areas is recommended
  • Breakfast and dinner are supplied along with a drink, but customers are welcome to bring extra drinks and snacks
  • Every part of the camp is governed by welfare and operational factors and weather can be a factor even in the summer (for example – high winds). Decisions whether to proceed with camping are made based on weather forecasts given by BBC Weather, Met Office etc., although customers should bear in mind that these can sometimes be incorrect and out of the centre’s control

Groupon’s Guide To Kent

If zipping over to the village idyll of Eynsford, travellers enthused by archaeology should be sure to stop off at the Lullingstone Roman Villa which boasts some of the most excellently preserved remains in the UK.

The gentrified sprawl of the Knole House estate allures visitors with its lofty manor house, herds of deer, and literary ties to celebrated writers such as Virginia Woolf. Over 300 years of military history may be explored at the Royal Engineers Museum, which plays host to an illuminating collection of weapons, vehicles, and uniforms from a variety of cultures.
