sorted byAs long as you wash car properly you won’t be dragging any dirt scratching your car. It’s flexible silicone not hard plastic
Its more for micro dirt like a grain of sand or other small particles, that create the swirls on light scratches.
I've never seen it do any harm, its more of an 'anal' detailers things, which i can understand if they like keeping their car pristine and need to polish it every week.....the irony being they dont use these sorts of products so should never need to polish!
