pay the extra and get a Panasonic...

it will end up in the cupboard! problem is the ingredients cost so much money compared to picking up a loaf in the bakers.

And extended John Lewis warranty, winner!

it costs around 40p to make 800g loaf... and great for making pizza dough .. cake mixes

Never tried one (too lazy...) but I saw one being demonstrated at my local John Lewis. The lady demonstrating said they are also brilliant for making jam as well as bread - she gave me a sample of strawberry jam made in the machine, and added it to a scone with clotted cream. Heaven! The jam was really lovely and I have to assume that it was genuinely made in the breadmaker.

This price ends today (5th Feb.).

I have a panny and I will be honest, I think the feshly bake bread in my local ASDA tates more satisfying, although I might just need to get used to wholesome ingredients without the added fat and extra crap they throw into it. Pizza dough it what I use mine for most, amazing pizzas. Ho and Honey loaf with mixed nuts goes nice with a cuppa. And as it costs less than 50p a loaf it is cheaper and very easy to use.

If you want a breadmaker it has to be a Panny. Widely acknowledged as the best out there.
