What did you purchase as a better replacement?

Saw one of these being used by a chef at a Raymond Blanc cookery school the other day. If it's good enough for him...
This is great, I'm going for the 6.7l model cheaper than Amazon. Is this discount a glitch? Not that I have any issues with kenwood/john lewis demanding I trade a kenwood in as I do have two spare.
Nice find op, ordered. Thanks, heat added

Try the code, kenwood75 which op has put up.
If you don't send old Kenwood, expect JL collectors to contact you...

Kenwood are great, far better than any of the fancy makes and loads cheaper.
Made in China.
Has anyone received this item without any demand for an old machine?

How do you know they won't charge the extra £75 or cancel the order?
Tempted, but my old Kenwood Chef is still going strong after 40 years, tbh it will probably out live me.
Heat. Thanks OP.

If John Lewis were to start chasing you on behalf of Kenwood, their terms and conditions are hilariously open ended. They're asking for "any kitchen machine" in "any condition", and haven't stated a date by which this has to be returned to the John Lewis store. If push comes to shove just source a broken machine for tuppence off of Gumtree and hand that in.

I was tight for time so had to order it online for collection at a store, I'll let you know what, if anything, is said when I go to pick it up.
Can i trade in my little kenwood chopper thats broken?
Fantastic product and fantastic price. I paid £120 for the equivalent of this from Kenwood over 30 years ago and it is still going strong. A must have gadget for anyone who enjoys cooking.
Bought this machine for £125 the last time this deal was on, and was massively disappointed.

It's very noisy and shakes a lot when in use. It sounds (and feels) pretty cheap.

I wanted something which could handle strong bread dough competently, and this will not.

I bought a refurbished Kitchenaid from their eBay store for £160 or so and am much happier with it.
Back in stock now.

Just to let anyone know that I picked this up today (ordered online for in-store collection) without a mention of the trade-in. Game on!

@Leong did you add a voucher code in before that one?
Price now dropped to 199.99 so with code should be 124.99
I paid £219 before the discount. Just called JL and they refunded me the £20 difference :-)
Great service, well done JL
