Heat, brilliant price.
It's clearence item - still brand new according to argos definition.
I'd buy one but already have a Kenwood cooking chef
it's a great price and I want to buy it but I no I'd never use it
Bargain price! Great find op. Heat from me :P
FFS OP, trying to resist another kitchen gadget!
Not great reviews on mumsnet and seems small for what essentially is a batch cooking device. Great price though for those that need it. Heat.

Mumsnet is straight talking common sense on some things.
Straight up uninformed ignorant BS on others, but still coming across as not. I know having got through plenty of gadgets those common sense mums didn't know how to get the most out of.
This is not a batch cooking device btw, it's 1.5l.

Things like this aren't worth looking at if you are the type of person that never uses the convection/grill on your microwave etc for example. You still need to put the initial effort into changing what you routinely use or it will be another piece of junk sitting on the side.

I don't have this but it's basically a watered down part of a Kenwood cooking chef and that is really good if you put the initial effort in.

thanks great deal . ordered one for a wedding gift and one for myself.
Like most gadgets that try to do 2 different things it does neither well: it's not really a food processor as it doesn't grate or slice or shred and it has limited cooking functionality. That's why for most people it will probably be used once or twice and end up sitting in the back of the cupboard...

I still maintain that most reviews say the food comes out quite sloppy. As someone who owns both a slow cooker and food processor I think I'll pass on this occasion. Shame as I really wanted to love it.

Here's one from the wife:

It's an excellent addition to the kitchen - cooks and stirs at the same time. Brilliant for risottos and home made soups in particular. Ours came from John Lewis and cost £99.99. Which? rather liked it when it was £200, but it hasn't sold well because nobody really knows what it is or does. Solidly made too.

We've just ordered a second at a bargain £79.99! Thanks OP.
