Just picked up this DAB radio with Bluetooth from Halfords Llantrisant for £85. It was an ex-display but when the chap brought it out from the back, it had all the original box, paperwork and wires. Radio look like it has never been used before, still has the original Kenwood 1 Year Warranty. Also picked up the magnetic dab aerial for £14.99 at Halford as the reviews are 5 stars.

The system is very easy to use and the quality is fantastic. The buttons feel great, you could tell that it's a premium radio compared to the cheap ones you can get from places like Aldi, gearbest and banggood.

Why I bought it?

I have been looking for a decent radio with DAB and the ability to connect 2 phones (business and personal) via Bluetooth.

Free fitting??

Are you joking?? There isn't a single place that would fit a stereo for free

I bought one a similar model a couple of months ago http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kenwood-kmm-bt302-car-stereo-with-bluetooth-usb-aux-55-halfords-2641944
Its basically the same design, but without the CD or DAB radio. I usually use it to play MP3s from a USB drive. There is also an Android app which plays from my phone via Bluetooth.

I bought the fitting accessories from the ebay shop for Bass Junkies. They cost £59 for the various wiring and fascia adaptors to connect it to a Mondeo, including to the steering wheel remote controls. stores.ebay.co.uk/Bas…014 I started pricing up how much it would have been to get everything from Halfords, but when they quoted £20 for an ISO adaptor that is £5 on eBay, I stopped.

It took me a couple of hours to fit it, following instructions on youtube videos. Apart from some Torx screwdriver bits, it didn't take any specialist tools. It was a bit fiddly to thread the wire for the hands free microphone around the back of the dashboard to fit it near the sun visor.

I don't particularly like the feel of buttons on the head unit, but its connected to the steering wheel remote controls, and I don't have to use the ones on the head unit much.
