Energy efficient

The Kenwood KID60S18 Full-size Fully Integrated Dishwasher has been given an A++ energy rating for its ability to get everything washed to a high standard whilst being efficient. You get to do your bit for the environment, without sacrificing performance.

Convenient

Designed for convenience, you can set a delay timer of up to 19 hours. This means you can load it before bed, and set it to finish just in time for breakfast. To make maintaining the Kenwood KID60S18 Dishwasher simpler, there are indicator lights to let you know when the salt or rinse aid need topping up.

Adapts to your dishes

You can choose from nine different programmes to suit the load you have. If you're getting close to dinner and don't have enough plates, a high temperature wash can be knocked out in under an hour. When your dishes need some extra care, the hygiene programme focuses on killing off bacteria.

Auto smart washes

Sensors pick up on how heavily soiled the dishes are, and the Kenwood KID60S18 adjusts the time and temperature accordingly. Lighter loads will use less energy, while the dirtiest dishes get extra attention.

Machine
Which Best Buy (75% score)

"Pros: Great at cleaning, good at drying, doesn't leave watermarks, eco program is very efficient, easy to load and unload
Cons: Auto program isn't efficient with energy and water, controls are confusing at first, noisy

If you're shopping for a cheap integrated dishwasher, this Kenwood is a great option. It cleans well and dries without leaving any watermarks. Its few minor niggles mean it isn't perfect, but it's still a worthy Best Buy."

Which state that the typical price is £249.99

Machine, it uses more steam then actually water.

Had it and it's was the worst dishwasher I ever had

Does steam comes through the pipes from a wonderland? Or maybe machine needs water and huge amount electricity to heat it up to 100*C? Hmm... Not arguing, just genuinely wonder what is cheaper as well. And seems like people always compare water usage only. But heating water to 50*C is nowhere close with energy usage to heating water to 100*C.

Any dishwasher will not actually boil the water as they normally go to a max of about 70 but only if you need it intensive, so it’s not actually steam but just hot water vapour. You only heat the water you need so it depends how you get your hot water, you may heat a tank full just to wash the pots.
Returned my last kenwood dishwasher. It leaked salt and water all over the floor on its maiden voyage.

I'm adding Siemens to my blacklist as well. Water and electrics one shot in my house hold.
What is it with dish washer manufacturers not including the correct instructions. Searched the internet for ages about how much water and salt to add. The common idea was to fill the salt container with water and then use salt to displace it till it full. Sweet fa in the manual.
Be careful buying appliances from from Currys. To wriggle their way out of price matching, they have custom model numbers and they deliberately make them sound like much more expensive models.
For example, the SMEG DI6013 is a much higher spec machine than the DI6012 so more expensive. Currys sell what is basically the 6012 with a different tray inside labelled as the DI6013D to try and trick people into thinking the currys price is cheap, rather that an inferior machine.
The fitting is pathetic. All they do is fit it if you've had a dishwasher in before. If you don't have the correct plumbing, i.e. a dishwasher tap fitted then don't bother.

To be fair it does state this on their website but may still catch some people unaware.£44 may still seem pricy when it will probably take them ten minutes to install.
