Mines now 3ish years old.Don't get me wrong it's got a great capacity, but if you wanna blend things like ginger, garlic, green chillies which is my main use for it, it really struggles.Makes Smoothies fine, never used the ice crushing feature.

Sounds like you should be using a food processor not a blender for ginger garlic chilli etc
We have this blender almost 3 years and works really well and also look fantastic . Highly recomended .

Bought this a month ago on the same deal. It’s very good and looks great.
Got one of these free years ago when I purchased a stand mixer. It's been fine, very sturdy, easy to clean too.
can it blend ice cubes

According to Amazon yes

I also got this free with the stand mixer and highly rate it. Does ice cubes well, makes smoothies quite easy too.
Looks good free delivery as well. Ordered thanks OP.
Purchased about a month ago. Looks great, perfect for making smoothies, coctails and crushing ice. Really struggles with things like making hummus, doesn't seem to circulate things that are not quite liquid

Friend uses Russel Hobbs desire mini chopper for green chilis, garlic and onion, says it's good.

You put it better than me lol. You constantly have to stop and stir, it seems to create an air pocket where the blade is and then blends nothing until you stop and mix things up again.

Been using a blender for my needs for 20 years, a food processor doesn't get it fine like liquid which is what I'm after hence I use a blender. Like I said this one struggles for the purpose I use it for but cheaper ones seem to do the same job easily. If you wanna do smoothies this is great but anything not quite liquid it struggles with

Thank you but I'm looking to make a really fine paste and have always used a blender without issue, this is the most expensive blender I've had and it just didn't live up to the name in my opinion. When it works it's great but it's such a long process whereas my old blender I just put the ingredients in and it whizzed it all up in no time.

You're welcome, yeah that makes sense, meant to make life easier, not harder. We hope that a blender, blends!

Same here, great little blender
Any suggestions for a blender that actually blends and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?. Reviews for all of the ones I've looked at are mixed .
