Kenwood Kmix glass bowl AX550 £35.00 with Free Click and Collect or £3.49 Home Delivery or free on orders over £40 @ Debenhams. Cheapest price I have come across for a genuine Kenwood Kmix Bowl, Amazon are charging £60.88 and Kenwood themselves have it on offer for £45.

Made from high quality, durable borosilicate glass, the kMix glass bowl allows you to clearly see what you're mixing in order to create the perfect consistency. The generous 5 litre capacity is perfect for both daily food preparation as well as for entertaining and the graduated sides allow for easy measuring of ingredients. In addition, the glass bowl features an easy grip handle, pouring spout for mess free serving and is dishwasher safe to help make clearing up even simpler. N.b. Although the bowl is heatproof borosilicate glass, care should be taken when mixing hot ingredients.

Not sure why people don't seem to think it's a good price considering the cold votes but such is life if it benefits one person that's the main thing

Exactly.

Mine was about £66ish after exchange rates etc. I think people may assume you can just pop any bowl underneath, but theres a locking mech thing at the bottom.

You get the metal one with the mixer - but the glass ones are infinitely better.

At £35 - im tempted to buy one for the cupboard in case the obvious happens!

Thanks for replying as I was really wondering why people weren't thinking it was a good buy and wondering if there was somewhere else selling them cheaper...

I have 2 of the metal bowls...one that came with the machine and one that I bought second hand off eBay as it is actually really handy to have two bowls especially when batch baking different things....admittedly the real bonus with the metal ones is they are virtually unbreakable...have already discovered that if you drop them they tend to bounce rather than break...lol....mind you in saying that if you dent them then the tools won't work properly with them...

I have however succumbed to one of these glass ones (was very tempted to buy 2 due to the price...lol...) from Debenhams as I doubt I'll ever find it cheaper and it will certainly come in useful for things like cake mixes as you'll be able to see from the outside whether all the ingredients are mixed without removing the bowl...
