For anyone looking for a high-end stand mixer, you won't go too far wrong with this Kenwood Major Premier model on offer from Co-operative Electrical.

The next best price I could find was c. £264 from Argos and if you particularly wanted the stainless steel model (KMM770) then you're looking close to £400.

3% TCB/Quidco available also, bringing the overall price down to c. £165

got this at this price a few months ago- really good and well built so should last ages with many useful accessories such as grinder mill

very good price for one of the most powerful and the best value quality mixers out there
got one for same price few months back from the co-op

Absolute bargain for a major. i paid slightly more for a chef two years ago, and i thought that was cheap.

Bargain. Bought when it went down in price first time in June. Just what we were looking for after our old (15+model broke down no parts.)

Heat - and thanks for posting. Without a doubt the best value mixer in the entire Kenwood range at this price - very little different from machines selling at more than twice the price.

I had found this without using HotUKDeals but it is a great price for a good mixer. Thanks for the money off code

Thanks for posting. I know my OH has been looking at the kMix long-fully every time we go to the shops!

Do they not sell an attachment pack on its own at a reduced price?!

Those attachments are really costly once you add em up oO

thanks for comments all - mine's now arrived and am delighted with it. I did find it quite difficult to find the list of compatible accessories for this model - if anyone wants me to post (they're shown on the box!) let me know.

That's a good idea. Thanks for pointing that out - I've photographed the box now for future reference. A great mixer at a really good price. Thanks again for taking the trouble to post it.

Pondering! I know nothing about mixers but looking for 1 as an Xmas present...

Ponder no longer. Check out all the alternatives on the Kenwood website, check out what each offers, check out what they sell for, and you'll find that this one offers extraordinarily good value for money if it's still being sold at this price.

Models with almost identical features are being sold at twice the price in most places - there is nothing in the Kenwood range to touch this one for sheer value.

Thanks, I was just pondering as some of the more expensive models look 'fancier' and I know the person who wanted 1 of these has been eyeing up the Kmix for months.

Vijay, agree there are def nicer looking models out there - some of the kmix models do look amazing!

But if you're after a real work-horse that's going to cope with whatever you throw at it, I'd definitely suggest you go for one with a bit more power. Having kneaded enough dough this morning for next week's bread, this model def fits the bill!

Thanks for the advice! We actually do already have a bread maker so I avoid having to do the hard work you've been doing this morning!

bah anyone know why the cpw10 code doesnt work now?

Woohoo I managed to pick up this deal in JL Bluewater on Friday! hotukdeals.com/dea…588 Does anyone know if you can purchase a ice cream maker attachment for it or if I need to buy a seperate machine?

this has gone up to £200 now unfortunately. The Mrs wants a Cake Mixer/ Food Processor, would love to get her a Kenwood, is £200 still a good price? Also have seen the Kenwood Multione has more features but can't find any reviews for it, its £280 at John Lewis, anyone know about this model?
