Product information

No more defrosting

Save the time and mess of manual defrosting with the Kenwood KNF60X19 60/40 Fridge Freezer and it's Total Frost Free technology. By maintaining ideal conditions, ice is prevented from forming on the walls. And with no ice build-up, you can make use of all the space in your freezer. Easily open drawers and get out what you need without any hassle.

Store more food

With a net capacity of 320 litres, the Kenwood KNF60X19 is a great option for households with lots of mouths to feed. There's plenty of space for all of your groceries, so there's no need to cram everything in.

Whether you're chilling or freezing, keep your food tidy and organised. Adjustable shelves in the fridge lets you customise your space, while you can separate your meat, vegetables and desserts in the freezer's three drawers.

Super freeze

There's no need to rush to the freezer before your food thaws as soon as you get in from the supermarket. Use the Super Freeze function to rapidly reduce the temperature and quickly chill your frozen goods. This locks in vitamins and nutrients, so you don't loose any of the goodness from your fruit and veg.

Energy efficient

Save money on your utility bills, as the Kenwood KNF60X19 has an A+ efficiency rating. Great for eco-friendly households who want to use less energy.

Is the product any good though? What's your review?

Honestly, this is my first fridge freezer since it's my first time moving out. I've not had a single problem however I would still say it's relatively new. I would say though for two adults the size is perfect for us in fridge space and freezer space and the frost free aspect is definitely true. Runs quiet and low energy is a bonus. Not sure how else I could review it. Seems to fit our needs perfectly is all I can say.

We have this fridge freezer and it was at this price when we went in-store about 4 months ago however the manager was super kind and had given a small discount without us asking. Worth the ask potentially? Excellent fridge freezer though

Edit: found out receipt and it was slightly higher than price posted here so definitely heat, the discount was named as "managers discretion" which took the total near this price.

We had one of these, the reason, I checked Which review which absolutely raved about how good it was. Warning - as some probably already know please check out trustpilot reviews on Kenwood Fridge freezers from actual long term owners. It is truly shocking. We learnt the hard way. We bought one in May last year. Ok to start with then about 2 months in the fridge went warm(very warm). It had ice inside near the vents. Resulting in hours to customer/technical service who keep bouncing you around. This resulted in 2 visits, a new fan a new vent system, and it worked again, until it froze again. Now this is the interesting point the last time I requested an engineer to come, the engineer asked me to describe the problem after hearing what I said he condemmed it without even coming round. I think they are having major issues with these as trustpilot seems to reveal. After ALOT OF STRESS, months in fact we got an uplift number for the value of the original purchase and bought a Samsung in the Black Friday sale. Wish I had done this in the first place but thought I would save a few quid and trust which. Never again! Oh another thing they try to say it is a manufacturers issue alot of the time. What they don't like to say is Kenwood fridgefreezers are a name they have bought and it is their own brand stuff with the name plonked on it. Kenwood get really irritated when you say currys customer service gave you their number to contact!
If you did get one anyway I would suggest getting the currys extended warranty( I can't believe I am saying that) but as trustpilot shows alot get past 12 months then pack up. You see if you machine started playing up a 10 months and the engineer fixed it, it would then likely pack up again after 12 months and then of course its adios amigo!

That's really good to know...can never tell these days...had a hoover fridge freezer and it was brilliant....complete unexpected from 'hoover' when they should be making vacuums
The fact is they are Kenwood by name only...
The name is licensed to Currys and other stores....try registering one on their site, you are given a phone number which is Currys Knowhow team...Kenwood do not manufacturer Fridge Freezers, Cookers or Washing machines.

Don't want to worry you but Samsung appliances have a shockingly bad reputation for reliability.
39587342-8J6FJ.jpgHis and hers lol!
Missed out this deal 18 months ago.
Ended up getting Kenwood fridge freezer in black with water dispenser for £288. Code Ken10 saved me £32 from Curry's.
Bought one of these a few months ago and found it to be a decent size and even the lowest settings work well keeping food very fresh.

As for the price, we paid about the same, so I suspect it spends more time at this price than the higher price.
achilles202004/01/2020 18:53

which fridge is this?

Sorry just realised not the same as the handles are different. They are both Kenwood. KNF60X17/KNF60X17A the later model includes a meat and fish bin, otherwise they are identical. We originally had two seperate tall larder fridge and a freezer by Samsung costing around £550 to £600 each and the fridge broke after about three years. Samsung couldn't of cared less, and no longer sold the fridge to match the freezer. So for just about the price of one larder fridge we bought two fridge freezers instead, so if one breaks we still have at least a fridge or freezer.
Good price.

However, stay away from Kenwood fridge freezers. We bought one from Currys just over 3 years ago and this has just packed in. Just spent a fortune on meat that now cannot be stored and have had to give what we can away otherwise had to throw it.

Having had the 2 . I can honestly say the build quality of the Samsung is far superior just feels well made the cooling system is great. My mum has one as well and hers has done well. I just wanted to save a few bucks on the Kenwood but never again, incidentally I had a kenwood dishwasher and that tanked fairly quicly as well. 5 years warranty was also a winner although I know it is a limited warranty. I have a samsung washing machine wish had an issue with the door phoned customer service and they came out quickly the engineer was really nice changed the parts no issue at all. Now kenwood , COUGH, COUGH, ( currys) are..

So sorry to hear that did you have extened warranty? If not don't give up maybe try the sale of goods act. So many issues with these.

Call me cynical but wait tell me what happens in 12 months, would be amazed it you don't get some ice build up in the fridge.

There should really be a law against ding that as well it's very misleading when trust a brand name. I am old skool kenwood to me means great separates and decent pull out car radios back in the day! I would probably buy a food mixer but not much else nowadays!

No extended warranty unfortunately. Just cut my losses and £400 down the pan

I've gone and bought a Samsung instead. Got one of these in my old house and lasted almost 10 years and still going strong!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll now keep an eye out - did you hear any odd noises as well, only ours sounds like it's overworking at times!

Didn't know this until 5 mins ago when i looked it up but Kenwood (Limited),mixers and kitchen gadgets are UK based and nothing to do with the Japanese based car audio/hi fi/tech Kenwood (corporation).....i really thought they were all part of the one company.....even their logo's are slightly different,so the car audio/tech side of things is still good.

It goes quiet. (not much help) We put a digital thermometer in the fridge that gave it away really quickly.
