Good price - I bought one last time it was reduced. Very pleased with it indeed.

I've got a slightly larger than average chopper and can highly recommend it.

Ive got a maxi chopper, can post a photo as proof if required

My chopper is quite small but has lasted for 50years

What are these things like. I mean say if I bought a load of carrots, these will chop them up raw with ease?

How about parsnips? They can be pretty tought to chop, is this unit likely to be able to handle it? I don't really care what the veg looks like when it's chopped up. I'm just fed up of having to chop up loads of veg when I make a curry.

same product £13.28 and 3% quidco so £12.88 -

This has been this price for months and months now.

Got this at this price before Christmas. It's a great little thing, I use it all the time.

Any word on its ability to chop raw veg like parsnips, carrots etc?

Needed one, hot, thanks

Went for the Dixons deal.

lots of reviews on amazon
"I bought one of these recently and have been using it a lot more than I thought I would. The instructions suggest you take care with hard veg like carrots or turnips but I've had no problems at all (no reduction in revs for example) and the two speed feature is brilliant."

"From onions to herbs, carrots to nuts...this little machine does the lot, with ease."

Saw some in Homebase the other day for £9.99

Near as! I think it's about 13p cheaper than when I posted it few months ago.

I have one of these, it chops up carrots and harder vegetables very well.

Very useful little gadget actually, especially if you have a small kitchen/are only cooking for 1/2 people.

It is pretty small, you can only really fit one large onion into it at a time.

Can anyone whose got one of these advise me...some of the reviews say you can't get a whole can of chickpeas or tomatoes in (for dips) others say you can...what's the truth!?

Depends on the can, would take a little one easy, those big catering tins might be a bit more of a problem. Might knacker the blades up though unless you open it and pour the contents out.

Thanks for that - I just mean the standard can so I guess that is fine...I think I'll get one

1/2 people? This device is for chopping vegetables not people. :P
