It's a good price but please please don't order one of these from Currys. …It's a good price but please please don't order one of these from Currys. I ordered a similar product in October and received it end of December after 7 calls to Customer Services. Eventually I contacted the CEO who sorted it out for me as I was getting nowhere. It's not worth the hassle. Pay a little more and order from AO. Check out their Trust Pilot page if you don't believe me. Absolute embarrassment of a company.

good find, well done
I have looked at reviews. Lots of good ones. Anyone on here got one. I've been looking for a food processor & this does a lot more, but I wonder if the processor part is really good

Yes. I can do enough for 2 pizzas at once. Any more is too much and it starts travelling up the dough hook

Used like new condition. Item will come in original packaging.

It’s a good trick to have up your sleeve. I’ve had to contact EasyJet and Argos CEOs and it get things resolved almost immediately. Good to know if Customer Service are ignoring or messing you about for ages...

I have this one and I love it! The attachments are great! Definitely recommend
Looks like more or less the same one when it was £50 for the package a few years back. It's a great machine used nearly all the functions including the centrifugal juicer and it's fantastic.

Edit. Just realised that juicer part isn't with this set.

It's very good for small to medium amounts. It's not for commercial use.

One thing to note the dough hook does lead to the arm moving up and down .. this is normal for this machine it's how it's meant to work.

Here's the refurbished one on eBay for £130 from the Kenwood shop. Same 1 year warranty
brought this on ebay refurbished a few months back after i started making my own pizzas and cinnamon buns, easy to use, saves me a lot of time

My initial plan was to get the vonchef food mixer but the Kenwood looked more professional and was slightly cheaper.

and also the vonchef food processor

Do you mind sharing the contact details of the ceo? I want to get in touch about something.

Yes I’ve read this uses plastic gears so good for “lighter” stuff but anything too serious and it’ll struggle.

Was going to get one but might just wait for the titanium chef to drop in price and spend a bit more.
I love this bit of kit, I bought the version that has the mincer and juicer (the juicer is the only part I haven't used) and it's all great. I got mine from the Amazon warehouse while it was also on offer so got it for 110, but if it broke tomorrow I'd buy it again for 230 if I had too.
I got one a few good years back from Debenhams at £150 (regular price £300 with the juice attachment too)as they had the price sticker on the wrong product 😁 I told them the night before that I think they have the product at the wrong price but they ignored me so after I went home and researched online I've realised it's a great price and product!!!
Then a year later (I think) Argos messed it up online and they sold it at £50!!!!! So I got one more for my parents 😁 GREAT MACHINE!!!
Just now I've realised...dose it not come with mincer attachement either?!

I have one. Had it for years now and it’s still going strong. Had to replace one of the seals around 5 years ago because of the dog
I love the chopper facility it’s saved many fingers over the years. Also the mixing hook as been a godsend when I’ve been making bread and I’ve even put the mixing bowl in my proving draw.
The only issue I’ve had is when I put the mixing bowl in the dishwasher water gets trapped in the base unit so I have to leave it on the drying board over night.
I have one as well got it from Currys without any problems last December for 149.99 have been using it a lot

I’m guessing one of the CEO executive team must have picked this up and got it resolved
Sydney-Steve11/01/2020 13:18

Probably wasn't him personally, like any senior leaders they have large offices that handle correspondence. It's the same if you write to anyone in the government, the only difference is since it needs signed off with the person of importances name it gets way more attention even if it's just to fob you off. The advantage is sometimes if you are the CEOs bag carrier your actually pretty senior so it's often as easy to fix a problem as ignore it.
