Product Description
Discover the Kenwood MX271 Patissier Mixer. Planetary movement for a perfectly homogeneous mixer which is conceived to last.

Manufacturer's Description
If you don't necessarily want all of the power and versatility of Kenwood's chef range but are looking for something which will carry out basic mixing tasks, and will also look good in your kitchen then this is the machine for you. Like chefs, the planetary mixing action will ensure there are no ingredients left in the bowl, which is stainless steel. A choice of 12 speeds makes it very versatile and it comes with three tools for mixing, kneading and whisking.

Thanks for the post emerald_green
I've added a direct link to your post .....

I hadn’t been aware of this item previously – does anyone know the history of its price? Is this a recent price drop from Amazon? I find this one more attractive then the KitchenAid Classic I hmmmed and hawwed over last Christmas at £149.

certainly looks the business

Looks good, perhaps as a christmas present - I'm an old romantic.

It's normally around the £120ish mark. Lots of places like Argos & catalogues have it for £150 ish, I bought my red one from electric shopping in June 07 and I love it. I pais £109 so £99 is excellent. The only thing that's a pain is the beater doesn't quite get the bottom of the bowl so you have to scrape the sides then remix (but apparently most mixers are like that???) and a HUGE fib is that it pretends to be 12 speed, but it's only got 6 speeds!!! Otherwise definitely worth the money. From what I recall when I ordered mine (after much shopping around!) the patissier has a stronger motor than the kitchenaid.

They seem to have the Kenwood MX275 Patissier Mixer 4lt 400w Cream for the same price

I used to have this machine until I upgraded to a larger Kenwood. It's a brilliant machine and more powerful than a KitchenAid. Highly recommended.

Looks very good very tempting

Thanks OP, I have been looking at this very model for my wife!

I looked at getting this machine before, looked everywhere and the cheapest at the time I found was £120 from Iceland, so I think this must be a recent price drop. With things from Amazon I've recently found them dropping prices and then the next week raising them again.

great find, perfect to make my pizza dough.

Just went to buy one and the price is back to £149.99 and 1 left in stock.

The cream one is still £99, but available in 1 to 2 months!

Nuts! Gone up as price as someone stated.
Oh well. :x

Still available at £99

Oooohhh, back to £99 now.

Yes, the red one's back in stock at £99.00 and the white one's now showing in stock, still at£99.00

I ordered the white one the other day on the 1 to 2 month delivery and it came today.

Also worth a look is this:

On iBood, so it can't be posted as a deal here separately, but I think it's a lovely food processor. £74.01 + 6% Quidco as well, + delivery £7.40. Won't be available for long though.

I was just about to purchase the Patissier in Cream for under £98 when I've found they have removed stock and the red version is up in price now to £150. Amazon keep increasing their prices... I'm getting annoyed! We are supposes to be in a recession aren't we ?!?!? So why are prices rising for items on my wish list. They should have dropped after the VAT reduction but they are going the other way. BROWN/LABOUR take note !!!!!!!

Sorry but Amazon have removed or sold on stock. They only sell now through affliated retailers. £168 cream version delivered. £240 Red. So thats my christmas present spoiled now by Amazon
