1st post so feel free to go all out on me!

Just ordered. Seems to be the cheapest price available online for this smoothie maker, which generally speaking has very good reviews.

You can also use TCB

I had one of these for 3 years before the engine went. Used it every weekday and some weekends. Couldn't justify anything else after it did me so well, so I got another! Great purchase for no nonsense smoothies!

Good to hear. How does it cope with raw veg, frozen fruits, ice etc?

I bought this for £20, so this a good price! I love mine I use it for making smoothies with frozen fruit most mornings! Yum.

Can only be hot!

Love mine. Use frozen fruit and a few ice cube with it regularly - one of the best purchases I've made.

Also, hot!

Thanks

I bought this for 29.99 about 4 years ago, still in everyday use, use it for protein shakes, smoothies and to crush ice before I got my Samsung American style fridge freezer.

Works well.

I paid £20 last year for this, great bit of kit. Still use it all the time.

Good price, paid £24.99 for mine about 18 month ago from Argos.

Frozen fruit, one yogurt and milk, yum yum. Crushes ice no problem, good for making refreshing drinks in the summer.

Was hoping to get one for xmas. So this came up at a good time. Free P&P as well
Cheers O.P.

Great deal for this. I love ours.

Personally think this is better value than the nutribullet - if this lasts 3 years a pop the Nutri would have to last at least 15 to make it viable, which it wouldn't

Hot deal. Had one for about 3 years. Only problem I had was when I boiled one of the lids to give it a good clean =-O
Luckily it comes with 2 lids...

...yes, I'm a tube.

Check for space at back of kitchen cupboard before purchase.

I have this and love it also. It blends great. I've tried the nutri bullet and that does chop the stuff up a BIT more finely but that's about all the difference. It copes with ice fine & so easy to clean

Cheers ordered. I will get healthy this year, lol

Sorry late reply. Frozen fruit is fine (but you have to include enough water or milk etc), ice is fine. I've not done frozen veg though.

My 2 favorite smoothies in this are:

240ml cold water, 100g frozen blueberries, 1 frozen (and over ripe) banana and a couple of scoops of protein powder.

The second option is when I don't want something as sweet, I substitute the banana for an avocado - sounds odd, but oh so creamy!

murphy richard in Sainsbury for 16.66. comes with two shakers and very compact and easy wash and maintaince. you can just change the cap and take it with you to gym, work, etc...

Probably a stupid question, but would this cope with hot/warm stuff or would the plastic crack?

I tried warm and even recently boiled water, the plastic doesn't crack, but it leaks hot gas and water. I'd not advise it...

I bought it 4 weeks ago.Great ,little smoothie maker.Highly recommended.

Went an grabbed this earlier. Brilliant deal.

Grabbed one, blizzed away and I was impressed

Can this be used for hot liquids?

Can this be used for hot liquids?

I wouldn't, plastic would leach & once absorbed the body can not easily get rid of it.

can i use this on vegetables?

I have had mine for 2 years and use it every morning. It is still going strong!! Porridge, protein powder, frozen summer fruits with some 200ml of water.
I would recommend
