Good price .. but I don't think it was 89.99 didn't they have them in b and q for £50. Still a good offer
Prime only... should mention that in OP
According to Keepa it has been £70-90 on Amazon for most of the last 12 months and this is indeed the cheapest it has been.

However as Yellowarmy points out it is Prime only and also + £4.49 delivery.

Still a very good price though
Thanks, ordered!

So, pay for Prime membership with next day delivery included,
And then pay £4.49 for delivery??

Toolstation is slightly more, but that includes delivery and no need to pay a monthly fee.
No postage for prime members

RRP is set by the manufacturer, not Amazon. Not a bad deal, but be warned, the plastic does tend to warp and is definitely NOT heavy duty. Do not try to put heavy weights on this. I did an engine strip on a Black and Decker workmate, this would have bent under the load

Had one of these before, the clamps are excellent IME, the best bit of the table. Mine gave up the ghost this year after standing on it to wash the van and it had suffered a few years of abuse prior. It’s def not heavy duty (the engine example above would def buckle it) but it handled 90ish kg fine for a few years. One other big benefit I found is if you use it as a saw table and overshoot you won’t wreck a blade as the edges are plastic. That does mean you can cut chunks off it though

I’ll probably rebuy at this price but wouldn’t pay rrp for it. Cheers op

Looks the same as the Mac Allister one from Screwfix (currently £54.99). screwfix.com/p/m…20p

Seems well reviewed.

Brother in law is a bedroom fitter, has been using this for the last 9 years and still going strong, I think it was never designed to to put an engine on, as I think the limit is 40klg max, as for putting an engine on a Black and Decker workmate WOW JUST WOW, you're really trying win the darwin awards
Perfect timing. Thank OP. H.E.A.T.

You have to pay to join the club so it is not open to the public, it is a private club.
Heat added but not for me, I’ll stick with me Black & Decker. It’s a pain to transport but you can clamp wood in the jaws a drill holes all the way through. Would have this if you could lift the centre section out.
I got the mac allistor one from b and q a while back for 25 quid, I think they had priced it wrong on the shelf but I showed them a photo I had taken of their pricing and they let me have it. It is pretty good, however, when collapsing it make sure the handle that is the main upright support lock is properly stowed or it will snap... Like mines just did.
B&Q had them at standard price for £40 for months, only recently raised it to £50

I'm a member of the public and have prime on free trial. I think you're splitting hairs here, yes there is a cost to be a permanent Prime member, but it's not exclusive, absolutely any Tom, Dick, Harry or Julliette can join.

Would you say the AA or RAC are not open to members of the public?

These are around £45 normally. But they are brilliant. I have 3 of them.
Link is showing as £85 now?

But which retailer is selling this for £85? What is Amazon selling these at or have they closed the offer?

The people who shop with amazon prime will want to know about good deals.
I’m sorry if I post a deal that seems to be only available at my local supermarket and not national, but it may appeal to someone who happens to live around here.
had mine a few years now, best workbench ever, and still good as new.

Yup, check other sellers on right side, still £44.99 from Amazon.

Also to other above, sorry, I hadn’t realised it was prime only.
Just to let anyone that is interested know, I picked one up from Argos this morning in Hucknall for the same price (less a £5.00 voucher I already had making it £39.99). Wasn't available at my local store but did click and collect last night for today pick up at a nearby store.
