I've had mine for over a year now and it's great. I stay in Scotland so it gets exposed to the elements and has stood up to them well.

When you say you stay in Scotland, do you take the shed with you on holiday?

Can anybody comment on the sturdyness of this in relation to a normal wooden shed?

There was one on display in Wickes last week (I bought one, haven't put it up). The sides feel like wood and are solid (not like the sides of their flimsy bin stores etc)

I had a rotten shed on a concrete slab, and replaced with the Keter Darwin. Some plastic parts around the door didn't fit well, but overall I'm happy with the shed. It seems flimsy while it is being built, but once the roof comes on, it becomes quite sturdy. The shed is bolted into the concrete base, so it is not going anywhere.

It's nice not having to worry about painting or treating it on a regular basis, making sure it doesn't rot, etc.

Btw I think the window panel can be used as a door as I have done, but it's been a while since I've assembled it

I've done the same but I think having two light sources when the door is open is probably better i.e a side window and the door itself letting light in.

What base can this be laid on?

Same as a normal shed, but i think it needs to be solid base (rather than wooden frame only). I'm using ecobase plastic grids for mine.

Make sure the base is level as you will have issues with it all fitting together towards the end.

I made sure mine was as level as possible but my doors are still very snug. 6x8 mine is.

Can the door go at the side on this?

That's the sort I'm after as well, that way you can stack stuff either side rather than having to get things out to reach the back

In which country is this made?
