Saw one instore. Surprisingly good. I'm after one myself, but need a lot bigger.

Will defo be buying a plastic shed and from costco. No maintenance/painting required. Strong. Well sealed once up. Recyclable at end of life.
I like the idea of these sheds, but reading the comments it says they include 100’s of screws and it took one couple 12 hours to build!

I've just built a plastic shed (not this one, a Lifetime 7ft x 12ft also from Costco) and its brilliant. I've had two wooden sheds and this one is so much better plus I won't have the hassle of trying to paint it every year.

Edit: This one:

Depends how fast they worked? Yes they do come with loads of screws, but nothing a cordless drill or electric screwdriver can't handle.

I built the 11.5 x 7 ft keter on my own mostly, I had about 1 hours help when doing the roof as it required persuasion but only took about 6 hours in total, electric drive and rubber mallet were essential.

And yes there were about 600 screws if o remember correctly.

Do they have any non-maintenance sheds?

Do they have any non-maintenance sheds?

All sheds need maintenance, the one in this post will weep inside due to condensation so will need to be emptied and steam cleaned regularly, the sheds in the link are decent quality and will survive for decades if you seal them with an oil based stain and if you keep them off the ground.

Cheers.

My Keter plastic shed is coming up 12 years old and has had zero maintenance. No condensation or damp inside and its only sitting on paving stones spaced out over soil. I'll be buying the one in this offer for my folks

Could you explain the "weep inside due to condensation etc". You do realise they have ventilation built into them? Never seen any comments about condensation from people that actually own them.

It's plastic, enough said.

It wasn't £1,049 when I got it a couple of month ago. Costco prices always going up and down.

Thanks, that's really helpful (said absolutely nobody)
Are Plastic Sheds Damp?

This is a totally valid question and one that more than a few people have asked. While not so much damp, it is condensation that can be an issue with a plastic shed.

whatshed.co.uk/pla…ow/
I think this one from the OP is less likely to have a problem from condensation. This is why resin sheds are attracting me more than your common plastic shed atm

I remember when they have been advertised a few month ago in store, never seen them for the price you are suggesting. I believe they cheapest they have been around was around £890 or something.

It was a misprice glitch. They took double the discount off and I managed to get one before they quickly corrected it. They honoured the misprice though.

Think you'll find they won't weep inside as they are well ventilated.

Lucky you, you won’t get it for this price anymore I am very sure!
I'll join the bandwagon :-

assembled my 6x6 Keter shed myself a year and a half ago.

Luv it!

No condensation that I've ever noticed and I collect my bike from it at 6:30 / 7:30 to commute.

Away to replace it with a 11 x 7.5 as soon as I can.
Bought the keter newton 9ft 5 x7ft 6 from costco, built it up last Saturday its a brilliant shed, paid £799,it went back up to £999 yesterday, the prices are up and down all the time
