These have had a lot of bad reviews - wouldn't touch

Had 2 for years, ok if it's on a flat base.
Couldn't fault them.

Is it big enough to store 2 adult bikes

see dimensions above

Probably a better deal than the Amazon one but I think I prefer the brown lid to green. Still pretty hot though.

I have had one of these for just over a year now. Maybe I was lucky, but mine is great - I haven't had any problems with it. It stores a lot, hasn't had any water get in and is still as solid as the day it was put up. If only I could fit another one in my garden (without it looking silly), I would be ordering right now.

Mine's great, although I paid £89 for it 2 years ago. But, it stores a lot and is quite sturdy.

Will it store bbq

no as its the width of 2 plastic wheelie bins

just got one few weeks ago, put it together properly, but it's poor quality. Can't imagine it last long. One hinge keeps popping out, doors don't quite shut together properly, not recommended

At least you got a hinge. I put mine together last night and was missing screws and hinges. Oh and I was not expecting the back to be made of crappy corrugated plastic. The back it is not the same material as the rest and I am very disappointed. Oh and some of the holes they may for plastic inserts are not big enough. Very bad quality

I paid £100 for mine and it's great and easy to put together. The key is putting it on a flat surface. Scorching at potential £65. Really tempted but don't need another one

mind didn't even have holes had to make them ourselves. agree with the plastic at back.

We only dare keep toys and non electrical things and have put it in a sheltered place as can't see it lasting. piston is great... one side goes up faster than another and I think this is causing the hinge to keep coming out of one side.

I've got one of these and I regret buying it. the plastic is so cheap and flimsy. the lock area has completely snapped off so isn't secure at all, not that it would have taken much effort to gain access anyway. the whole thing is fading badly, the roof is distorted and the hinges have broken.

Bad reviews? Some people just can't put a plastic shed together on a flat … Bad reviews? Some people just can't put a plastic shed together on a flat surface, in a safe position, without botching up or losing half the parts. Amazing customer service. Excellent reviews below:TescoArgosThis is what you call bad reviews:Rowlinson metal shed

Sorry, but can't agree on the excellent customer care - Keter's 'customer care' is shocking in my opinion. We bought 2 Keter 6' sheds a while back. They were missing shelving - Keter weren't interested at all.

Also, I wouldn't rate the product either if the quality of the sheds are anything to go by - retail price was supposed to be around £450. Doors have had to be fixed on numerous occasions - better off buying a wooden product........and before the doubting Thomases claim it had something to do with the quality of the build, then I'm afraid not. It is properly secured on a level, concrete base, in a safe position! The quality of the parts are naff!

I am confused, it says it's only 600l capacity but the pic and dimensions are the same as the 1300l version which costs more.

Utter crap quality -stay away whatever the price.

Not a problem putting up, decent quality compared to some of the balsa wood sheds that b&q sell and sturdy when put together properly, it has metal reinforcing in parts front the only let Down is that the back of it is just a sheet of corrugated plastic it's waterproof though and the gas lift on the hinges is a nice feature, it's sturdy enough and feels solid when put up, and is perfect for what I use it for.

I recently got one of these to store mine and my kids bikes in, my bike has a quick release wheel on the front and if you want an adult bike to fit in you have to remove the front wheel, for me this is a bonus as it makes the bike a bit harder to ride off on with one wheel not stored with it, I also bought a ground anchor a motorbike chain a dlock and a shed alarm so hopefully it will make it more trouble than it's worth to run off with the bikes, a Stanley knife would cut through the door or back very easily, I'd say it's about a secure as a shed though and is great for keeping the elements off, if used with other security methods it's a great little item.

avoid buying online for delivery if you want yours to to be in good/unbroken condition. Ordered one last time from amazon when they price matched tesco at £88 (preferred the brown lid version which only available on amazon), finally arrived last week and can see without even opening the wrapping that 3 sides of the plastic were already cracked/broken, the Keter's plastic is simply not strong enough and also the manufacturers packaging is simply too inadequate (not enough polystyrene and padding material) for the rough and tumble of long distance transport by courier companies. Needless to say the thing went back to amazon right away.

luckily couple weeks ago when homebase had the 15% off weekend, went in store and spoke to the manager and he was willing to price match tescos £88 and taken another 15% off so just under £75, ended up opening the whole package in the car park and putting each piece carefully into the car and transport it home by myself, seems to be the only way to gurantee the safety of the keter.

as for reviews online of people saying quality of this keter store it xl might have dropped, there might be some truth in that as the "quality assurance date" on the manufacturer's label for the broken/damaged amazon brown lid one I received was 07.04.14, whereas the green lid one I bought instore from homebase was dated 2013, not sure if there were even earlier versions/batches that were supposed to be even better quality? would be good to get more info from other owners.

it was pretty simple to put together, I would say the quality is probably just about worth around £70, but don't think it's worth £100, will be be lucky to get 5 years out of it. Only other problem for me was it's missing a couple of screws so now need to contact the manufacturer to get them.

i wonder if this is the case quality wise, mine was from homebase, it had reinforcing metal in the front and back if they have dropped this from later models i could understand why some would be complaining about it being flimsy.

Got an e-mail back from Tesco. 'Sorry we are unable to fulfill your order'

so the brown lid version don't have couple of metal bars(which makes up the frame)? ok, so this seems to confirm why some people are saying theirs are "weak and flimsy", so did keter change the metal bars to plastic ones?

didn't know Homebase sold the brown one, all the ones in my store are green lid version, and the one I bought definitely had couple of metal bars, and dated 2013. The amazon brown lid one I didn't open so can't be 100% certain whether it has the metal bars, but it was dated Apr 2014.

bought one of these last year. it is absolutely appalling! hinges broke of. lid was ripped up with strong winds. emailed them and was told "well what did I expect with the winds" well I expected it to last. utter rubbish. I would never buy anything from them again.

Sounds just like the "quality" customer service I received when I phoned immediately re missing parts. They deserve to go out of business. I'd rather give my money away than buy another Keter product.
