Just ordered one of these, although it says 2-4 weeks delivery I'm sure at this price it's worth the wait

Worth reading recent reviews before buying. Looks like the quality of these boxes has drastically reduced? I'm tempted but wary after reading. Thoughts?

It's a great deal. Well spotted, OP

They are very good if you get a decent one, It was third time lucky for me.

The 1st one the lid was broken, the 2nd one was warped all over the place and wouldn't fit together.

I have one of these already and I've bought another one. Thanks for the heads-up.

They're OK quality and good enough to keep the weather out.

very poor, avoid

I have one of these and they're not that good. I certainly wouldn't buy one again. :-/

Cheap nasty rubbish, I have one and in all honesty I would not have paid £20 if I knew what the quality was like. Very, very poor plastic.

Oh no, don't like these negative comments. I really wanted one of these. This is a great price but I am unsure now!

I'm concerned about these comments too, but I've also read some good reviews on Amazon so pretty confused. Can anyone actually recommend anything better for this price??

Do Amazon take the money straight away? Or when it ships?

I have one of these and it's great, bought for 100 pounds at the time. Hot.

Have had one for about 18 months. There great. No leaks and we git a lot of rain were i live. I paid £100, so this a good deal.

I recently bought a Keter product and was dissappointed to find out where it was made, if you care about human rights then you should check out where Keter products are made....not so hot perhaps?

Bought one of the old style ones and it was very strong and rigid. Thought I would get another one but Keter had changed it for this new style - nowhere near as strong, but it houses my wheelie bin and recycling well enough. Not worth £70 imho.

I bought one 6 months ago from home base for £100.... very happy with it.

I don't give a monkey's about human rights so bought another

Same here too, purchased mine for £100 from Homebase and so far so good. Pretty tempted to buy another one at this price

its gone to 99.99.
was reading reviews and missed it:)

avoid buying online for delivery if you want yours to to be in good/unbroken condition. Ordered one last time from amazon when they price matched tesco at £88 (preferred the brown lid version which only available on amazon), finally arrived last week and can see without even opening the wrapping that 3 sides of the plastic were already cracked/broken, the Keter's plastic is simply not strong enough and also the manufacturers packaging is simply too inadequate (not enough polystyrene and padding material) for the rough and tumble of long distance transport by courier companies. Needless to say the thing went back to amazon right away.

luckily couple weeks ago when homebase had the 15% off weekend, went in store and spoke to the manager and he was willing to price match tescos £88 and taken another 15% off so just under £75, ended up opening the whole package in the car park and putting each piece carefully into the car and transport it home by myself, seems to be the only way to gurantee the safety of the keter.

as for reviews online of people saying quality of this keter store it xl might have dropped, there might be some truth in that as the "quality assurance date" on the manufacturer's label for the broken/damaged amazon brown lid one I received was 07.04.14, whereas the green lid one I bought instore from homebase was dated 2013, not sure if there were even earlier versions/batches that were supposed to be even better quality? would be good to get more info from other owners.

it was pretty simple to put together, I would say the quality is probably just about worth around £70, but don't think it's worth £100, will be be lucky to get 5 years out of it. Only other problem for me was it's missing a couple of screws so now need to contact the manufacturer to get them.

i have one

very flimsy like laminated cardboard. already had to claim under warranty for replacement hinges as they are made from cheap brittle plastic

cant see it lasting through winter storms

It keeps the water out but the quality is pretty poor. mines already falling apart after 3 weeks.

wont keep the water out for much longer

still, it does have a 5 year warranty so I can see mine being the equivalent of triggers broom over the next 5 years

Ive already written to them about the fact the lid doesn't stay on when you open it. Can see this being returned soon!

Do you guys have the brown or green colour lid version, based on feedback in the other keter deal thread there seems abit of quality difference between the two, green lid version have couple of metals bars included for example, also the brown lid one is supposed to be newer stock/batch but worse quality.

I have the green lid one and it does have two metal bars in the floor panel but this doesnt make up for the fact the rest seems as though it is just laminated cardboard

Just put mine together, seems fine.
lots of flashing on the plastic parts best to trim off to get a good door shutting.
Said 2 to 4 weeks for delivery, it arrived in 3 days.
Happy with it for now, lets see how it weathers.
