Thanks I'll check my local HB tomorrow and hopefully they'll have them

Aciiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid!

The new UK £1 coin will enter circulation in March 2017, and The Royal Mint is producing more than 1.4 billion of the new coins. So great until March when no doubt all coin slots will change.

or these will be worth more than 29p because they don't change the slots and force everyone to use a token.

Thanks

Didn't see them at checkouts in the Reading HB this morning.

71p profit when you swap your trolley with some doddering OAP who gives you a quid in exchange!

I wouldn't want house or car keys dangling off a shopping trolley while I'm considered which beans to buy.

Does anyone actually carry a bunch of keys around with them these days? oO

Erm, yes? oO

But you can get these free from pretty much any charity or business that wants free advertising.

It's on a removable clip. (_;)

Great value as long as it's lighter than a pound, hate carrying heavy keys in first place

MOT

Non in any of my local stores.

Or you can use them instead of £1 coin to get them sweets or toys from those machines in shopping centres or cinemas ;-)

Any Euro ones?

Don't really understand the concept....

1. You get your pound coin back, you don't get your 29p back.
2. 1.5 billion pound coins in circulation vs one trolley token; what am I most likely to have in my pocket?
3. "If I give you a pound, can I have your trolley? It will save you taking it all the way back." "That's very kind of you, but unfortunately I'm using one of those stupid trolley tokens..."
4. "Why has that knob paid for a trolley token, when there are 1.5 billion pound coins in circulation and you get it back when you return your trolley?? And it's got a stupid smiley face on it..."

You hover near the entrance and then someone will swap you a quid for the trolley instead of walking to the trolley bay. An instant 71p profit.

Brilliant! only have to do that 194 times a day and I can retire!!

Must vote cold . This merely encourages people who live in council houses to fill up with a weeks supply of cider bought on benefits ,wheel it home and abandon their shopping trolleys outside old people's houses.

This will be perfect for my daily shop for consoles, console accessories, discounted games and android phones.

What is this? There must be a term for this council tenant abuse?!
I'm a council tenant and I get my shopping ... delivered! from Waitrose no less! Shock horror!

Mind you it is all cider yes. Washes down the crack cocaine we are all on a treat.

does it weight the same as an actuall £1 coin. I have some ideas.

Do supermarket trolleys still need these, most of the places round here they have been disabled
