A bit of a niche product here, but we're currently building an extension, so I happened across this. £361 is the RRP on Keylite's website, but I'm sure that it gets slightly cheaper. Still, this is a great price. Velux flashing here. (Edit: one poster said that this is not compatible!)

Blackout curtains £57 at Ambition Blinds.

Cracking price.... Now I need to build something to install it in
there are some windows by aurora which are a good price. weird thing - was speaking to an experienced window fitter and he reckoned they were the same window velux were building about 10 years ago.... exactly the same materials and spec.

now, i’m sure someone will shoot me down and tell me that’s BS but hopefully it will help someone (we had some fitted in an extension last year and were pleased with them. time will tell if theyre good quality) i was happy with his word as I work in the gas trade and know he’s a guy I can trust.

Good price. How does Keylite compare to Velux or the cheaper brands like Balio and Duratech? Does the Velux flashing fit the Keylite ok? About 4 months too early for me this deal...., But may pull the trigger 😁

Yes,that's true for a few different brands that manufacturer roof windows.
I think in the early days keylite did that exact thing but I think they've changed there design and do slightly different features to velux.
I generally only fit velux as I've fitted so many and got used to them and get quite a good rate as I buy so many. Keylite are good though! If anyone's unsure on them, 'skill builder' on YouTube did a recent video on fitting if anyone wants to check it out, they really are simple.

thank the lord for that... i was skeptical when i heard it. he said that this aurora brand had bought velux’s machines when velux upgraded... so essentially made velux windows of the 2010 type era.

either way, we’re happy with them.
Velux flashing kit is not compatible with keylite !
Had veluxes 78cm x 98cm for £200ish including flashing, not sure if mindblowing deal
Bought keylight, very good , only just fitted, but I would say pay extra go velux, one of the obvious issues is opening and closing keylite, knuckle wrapping when closing them, poor handle/compromise design, unlike velux.
