Oh.. I'll have to check that out as I am in the market for a GTX 1070. There all so overpriced but I thought I'd post the cheapest one I could find incase anyone really wanted to buy one now. Why are Massdrop deals not allowed?

Edit: Just checked Massdrop out there now. Isn't it delivered from america and has the chance of getting stopped by customs? Meaning it would be a lot more than £326 + how does the warranty and returns work?

Yeah and also im not sure how Massdrop works but I'm pretty sure aleast 50 people need to buy it to get the $449.99 price point.

Yep, atleast 50 people need to purchase it for the orders to go through at that price.

Also, estimated ship date is Jul 19, 2016.

I think its going to be some time before we see either the 1080 or 1070 in the plus on here. All our hopes, dreams & thoughts are with the RX480. (for the sake of competition) if nothing else !! lol

Yeah haha, I'll probably wait to see what AMD has to offer at the end of the month, I would love to go with them instead. Do you think they'll have any higher end variants of polaris 10 i.e RX490?

1070 is a replacement for the 980 and is priced about right. The unrealistic expectation on pricing is due to poor choice of naming from Nvidia.

Indeed, the world needs the RX480 to be a hit !! lol I'm almost certain there will be a RX490. I don't think it will match the 1080 but if the price is right & its close enough it should give Nvidia something to think about.

No its not, its the 970 replacement hence why its called "1070"
Nvidia charge extra because they know people will pay for the performance and fanboys will buy it anyway.

They just posted up the EU prices for the 480 its €230 for the 4GB and €270 for the 8GB and the benchmarks are putting it just below the 980 in performance still its early days yet so take that with a grain of salt

Really hope these 480's and whatever else Polaris brings is really decent. Mainly cos I'm also gonna be in the market for a new monitor and don't wanna pay the markup for g-sync over freesync

Well that's sounds promising I really hope its true. I've been waiting to upgrade my GTX660 for nearly a year. Just can't bring myself to pay Nvidia's prices. Really wanted a MSI GTX1070 but refuse to pay around the £400 mark for it. I'll either buy a RX480 or a MSI 970 & look again in a years time.

Yeah same here I think the UK price of the 1070 has really put off a lot of people me being one of them I was hoping for around 300 for the good models but at £400 there is just no way

When are the shutters going up on Raja's cards?

Honestly, wait to see what AMD have, and even if they have nothing (beyond the 480) there's still a chance the 1070 will be a bit cheaper by then or have a free game.

What's the point of the DP1.4 connectors on this card? Surely that's only a requirement if the card can handily take on 4k res post 60fps? (Which it can't)

What if you sli 1070? Or play less demanding games at 4k?
