I went into my local KFC last time and told them that I was allergic to 'drum sticks' I was only joking but they took me seriously and gave me all thighs and breast pieces in my 9 piece bucket.

Should have legged it.
I've got a real problem with these deals from KFC, gonna go cold Turkey from now on.

It's absolutely ludicrous that the NHS give discount on food such as KFC.

They don't.

KFC give it to NHS 🤪

You could ask
Everytime I said only thighs, only drum sticks, etc they allowed it but that's just my local
I went into KFC in Paisley and said to the girl working there I'm a thigh and breast man and she chucked a family bucket over my head and phoned the police.

KFC is fine, in moderation...!
I just love the juiciness of KFC...

The chicken is well nice and tasty...and the gravy is delicious

The ones near me never believe me when i say I can't eat the ribs or breast meat ones....they say it like this:
"YOU CAN'T CHOOSE, YOU GET WHAT YOU ARE GIVEN".
hahaha they are mostly idiots that work in the KFC's these days
This offer is great but the size of the chicken pieces vary so much. I've had that literally filled the chicken bucket up before then I've had one that barely filled it half way.
will they do the chicken wing bucket ??

My girlfriend only likes the "flat" hot wings, so we only ask for them when getting hot wings and they always deliver.

They are pretty good with stuff like that.

For those who may not be aware, KFC is amongst the worst for animal welfare in the UK. I have a good friend who works in the welfare industry and has to visit all of the factories where they raise chickens and I won't go into details, but KFC was awful to say the least...Funnily enough, McDonalds was actually much better and one of the best in the UK for factory farming - I wouldn't normally associate them with good animal welfare, but in this country, they are better than the rest!
Anyway, just thought I'd mention it, as I really stopped enjoying their nuggets when I heard about what i was contributing to.

Ah you're one of those people. You probably compare getting a nandos to buying a whole chicken too, forgetting you'd need to also purchase a charcoal grill, a deep fryer for the chips, 11 different sauces, some hard to source portugese beer etc.

In reality, if you wanted to make your own KFC you'd need to find a great recipe, which would probably involve a lot of time, trial and error. You'd also need to purchase a deep fryer and the oil to go in it.

Flats are by far and away the best part of the wing. I'll take the Drumette too but the flats win every time

Funny enough, I've heard they are the best in the Uk, and it's my wife who works for them. So I'll take her word, but she won't touch beef steaks or lamb after what she's seen in her work, but I still do!

Are you trying to be funny or imply KFC barely have any chicken on the bone? I've never heard of anyone having an issue

Yeah - they mostly put the discount through as police or armed forces or something like that.

Once, I overheard the code they type in for the discount and then wrote that down on my receipt for the next visit. Made me laugh that the receipt they were holding had the exact code that they had to ask a manager for.

Simple things! Lol

Don't try and put me off my dinner. It's a chicken. As long as it's legal practice then I'm not going to lose sleep over it. And AFAIK KFC don't have a chicken farm at the back of the shop, they buy their chicken from various chicken suppliers.
