Shrewd buyers get tents in the sale now - you get last season's colours being sold off cheap before the 2010 styles come in, so you get just as good a tent for a lot less money. This Khyam's one of the best family tents you can buy and is a steal at this price.

Khyam make great quality tents and are hard to find on good deals.

Official blurb:

The Seattle 8 is ideal for a large family, this model features a dual diameter pole system to provide maximum headroom. The large window allows plenty of light into the living area.

All outer tents are made from high performance PU coated polyester fabric featuring heat sealed taped seams for maximum water resistance. It has ventilation ports to minimise condensation. Ports include a rain flap which prevents driving rain from entering the tent.

It has colour coded poles/sleeves for easy pitching, reinforced pegging and guy points for durability.

High quality galvanised steel pole joining ferules.

Ring and pin system used to secure the poles. They are much stronger than the webbing & eyelet system.

Durable, fully opening, carry bag with compression straps for ease of packing supplied with each tent.

same price at jrleisure.co.uk, hopefully we can get some people who actually have this tent to comment, as i want a family tent and was given £100 for crimbo to put towards one. cheer op for posting

I've no experience of this specific tent but I can strongly recommend Khyam as a brand. We do a lot of camping and have had quite a few tents over the years (have still got about 7-8 in the loft of different sizes and types!) but the Khyam we bought a few years ago has definitely been the best we've owned.

If you can afford to spend a bit extra I'd recommend trying to get one of their quick-erect, rigi-dome ones (also available on site listed by the OP) as these make putting up and taking down so much easier and help ensure that you get tensions correct.

look on this site for tent reviews : ]http//ww…uk/ we use this site when looking for new camping sites or looking for equipment.

Somerset Camping is just down the road from me, but very few people on here will live close enough to visit this one and only shop..... and delivery is appriximately £20 to £30 so this cost should be in the title.

cheers people. i have been umming and aaaring for months and months. borrowed one off a friend for the summer trip. easy erect would be a good idea as im the only adult going and can get a tad stressful with three kiddies limply helping. thanks:thumbsup:
