Saw this a while back but didn't realise it was a good offer until I saw how much the regular editions are going for I realise it has been much cheaper before but this is still a good deal, and IMO worth the extra 6p more than Amazon for the comic book.

Includes DVD copy of the film as well as collector's comic book

The life of Dave Lizewski one of scarce problems; his day to day actions rarely stray from reading the comic books that he loves oh so much. Dave has a nice life and is content with it until the day he decides to change, he decides to make a difference with his life, he decides to become a Superhero!

Dave’s life suddenly changes when he walks out of his house clad with superhero mask and a decorative baseball bat, the only problem with Dave being a superhero... he has no powers. But like all good comic book readers, this doesn’t matter to Dave; his dream will not be swayed just because he lacks the skills of your everyday superhero.

Based on the violent comic tale of Mark Millar comes Kick Ass “I can't read your mind. But I can kick your ass”. Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake) has adapted this tale along with Marv Films production. Aaron Johnson stars as Dave Lizewski AKA Kick-Ass, the crime-fighting teen. Lyndsy Fonseca co-stars as the character's object of desire, with Nicolas Cage also appearing as an ex-cop whose hatred of a drug lord forces him to train his daughter to be a lethal vigilante.

last time I bought it and it did not come with the comic book. Zavvi CS is rubbish and I could not be bothered to complain.

the comic is 12 pages long

the comic is 12 pages long

Yes - first chapter only.

The comic is inside the DVD box, i thought it was missing too lol

Bought this for £2 somewhere and it came with the comic. xD

Yer its a good deal but dont be mislead by the free comic book, just the first chapter and is more like a leaflet

It was £2.99 @ HMV a few weeks ago...

A tempting price... if only another batch of the Steelbook editions would make an appearance as missed out on those when they were released.

dont be fooled by the 'free comic'

still a great film tho.
