I got his for my little boy last year and it's really good!

Does it actually move under it's own power too? or is the battery just for the lights/sirens?

I have just bought this- thanks for the post. I am sure it is the same as the AA one that my older son has. It runs along at something like 1.5km per hour (i.e. very slowly) but goes forward and backwards. They are fantastic toys for young kids- if you have the space.

Can anyone confirm battery life. Didnot like Maplins review of 10 minutes....

We have had one of these for 3 years. The battery is on its way out, but still holding some charge. Ours lasts a couple of weeks between charging, but it depends on your kids use. You can get replacement battery from Maplin. My son has got a lot of pleasure from this, can't recommend it highly enough. you may need a hammer to put the metal caps on the wheel spindles, instructions not clear about this.

Hello,

Ours arrived today and on the box it says 2 years plus. Our little one is 3 1/2 in december. (yes Early Xmas present)

Question is are they suitable for this year group, or will it be too small?. I dont want to open the box if its got to go back.

Regards

Barry

Anyone?

Hi,
In answer to my question..

Box says from 2 years....However inside the transformer and battery say 3-7. Weight says it upto 30KG

Very impressed with the price, however mine had a broken battery connecter, and has had stickers on it in the past which have been removed...I have managed to fix it with another bit of plastic I had...

It may be a one off, but I would suggest checking yours.

regards

Barry
