Thank you for your concern, but I'm perfectly capable of deciding which days of the year I'd like to see family and friends for myself!

I wont be able to eat on boxing day! :@ mother usually does something with the left over meat (which will last for a disturbing amount of time)

Of course... You're the one seeking to impose your views on everyone in contrast to my attitude of "you can do whatever you want", yet I'm the selfish one! Please tell me you don't seriously believe that!?

Though with a quip like that about Tory MPs, I hold no hope for any sense coming out of you.

I went to Frankie and Benny's High Wycombe last Christmas as a treat for the kids after watching Frozen but the food is truly awful. The burgers are tasteless, salads limp and put a downer on the evening. I'd rather have taken the kids to McD or a Wimpy.

I have vowed never to go there again.

Agree.

I went several years ago and actually liked the food, especially the desserts. However, the quality has gone downhill over the years and the food at my most recent visit, 2 weeks ago at the new Taplow restaurant, convinced me never to go back! The quality has gone down whilst the prices up. It's a shame.

You spoke for everyone when you assumed all staff who works for this company celebrates and acknowledges Christmas. I'm sure their Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, staff don't allocate Boxing Day for visiting friends and family.

isn't it amazing how quickly the comments on this site degrade into argueing with each other and moaning about the OP post, it's christmas people, lighten up

I had a visit to there the once...................lets say I wouldn't be ever going back, its a terrible place to eat, the food is crap.

Good deal, if you have chlldren under 11!

Too many people constantly looking to argue. Chill, tis the season to be jolly.

So many tards about, if you spoke to me like that face to face id knock you out!

I like my local Frankie And Benny's, my usual order is Black And Blue Pasta. Yum

Though, every time I see them mentioned, I can't help but think of this woman: dailymail.co.uk/new…tml

"Fussy customer barred from Frankie & Benny's because she sent back 90 PER CENT of her meals after eating there three times a week for a year". Some people!

In your humble opinion!

Been twice, in different cities, and the food was rubbish. Very over priced

and service very poor

Does it have to be the parent? I see couples in there from time to time, was thinking of sending the kids in with them and popping into the cinema for a bit.

Lol such an awesome idea!

Heat added.

But this offer is on everyday in all the Rotherham and Sheffield branches.

I have to agree with a boxing day boycott. I know a couple of people (in retail) that have been forced to work it, rather than ask. It's a real shame.

Never go to places where kids eat free. Why should I subsidise people with children. Nothing's free in this world, the costs are spread over everyone's meal.

cheers

"Yes, my son will have the New York strip, please."

And reading down the comments, you'd never believe it was the season of goodwill to all men. It's all bah humbug and bickering!

To be fair, if you work in retail, you know there's a pretty good chance you're going to work over Christmas.

Ermm. My mind boggles at the thought of what your mother does with leftover meat?
