feeding em to the lions? lol

just wondering, not sure about Edinburgh but most zoos do family tickets which work out cheaper than buying individual tickets.

edinburgh do family tickets, which are 33.75 for 2 adults one child,45 ish quid for 2 adults 2 children.

the adult single price is 13 quid I think so this is a better deal than the family ticket unless they have changed the pricing since we were there three months ago.

thanks

Good price but be warned, Edinburgh zoo is rubbish nowadays. Hardly any animals (especially in the winter). Penguins are good though.

**Tip, make sure your good at hill starts in the car. Carpark is up an almighty hill with the ticket booth halfway up it.

Nope, its deffo a Sheet Hole these days, which is a shame as I have such fond memorys of it when I was a kid. But when I took my sprogs last year I was sorely disapointed, and so where they. We have been to quite a few Zoo's in the UK and they have all been much better than Edinburgh, but they best so far has to be the one in Barcelona.

Change listing to Children can visit an animal prison for £5!

Poor depressed animals.

If they can't do the time they shouldn't do the crime.

Nice, we went to the Zoo a few weeks back and wish I had have seen this!

Edinburgh Zoo pricing are as follows (id you do not add the gift aid donation)

Adults £13.95
Child 3 - 15 years £9.90
Child (under 3) FREE
Concession (ID Required) £11.70

Family Tickets
2 Adults & 2 Children £42.90
2 Adults & 3 Children £51.80
1 Adult & 2 Children £30.30
1 Adult & 3 Children £39.20

CarPark £3.50

The deal help's a lot for single child parents, since they never get the family ticket deals to benefit from.

Everyones visit to the zoo is what they make of it, but everytime I go I come back knowing I have been able to view the animals I have wished to see.
Oh and if anyone feels upset that they never saw an animal because it was sleeping, they arnt going to wake them up for you
It happens at all zoo's Berlin, San Diego, Madrid.

Anyhow, anyone that has an interest in going, and has a child wishing to see, then its a good deal.

If you follow the daily talks, you will see the animals being fed and clicker trained as well.

Going to Edinburgh at half term so thanks, think we'll use this!

thankyou xx

My wife and I went to Edinburgh zoo a few years ago (drove from Norfolk!) and we were very impressed. The penguins were great - one of the few places to see King penguins in the uk, apart from Birdland in Gloucestershire (which supplied the penguins for Batman Returns!) as was the uk's only polar bear, Mercedes. We enjoyed Edinburgh zoo alot more than London zoo and equally as much as Colchester zoo - feeding the elephants at Colchester has to be experienced

It's the glasgow sept weekend coming up(hurrah!), it's gonna be full of weegies like me...
