Cadburys World is recommended if you are in that area, especially if you pay for the tickets via Tesco Clubcard Vouchers. You get about £10 worth of chocolates as you go around the factory. Factor in the "free Kids Entry", and you can't go wrong!

i love cadburys world, well worth a trip x

Nice find

you dont get 10pound worth choc in bham cadbury world never have

We got about twenty bars whilst going around. Assuming that they are worth about 50p each in the shops, I'd say we got about a tenners worth of chocolate. Maybe we went on a quiet day.

Thanks

Thanks! The butterfly farm in Stratford is great, as is the lemur wood at Dudley Zoo.

Nice if your in the heart of england, especially if you combine it with a cheap sun holiday ;-)

No use to me though

Thanks.

its my little boys 2nd birthday coming up, and wanting to take him on a nice day out (instead of a party!), would you recommend this place for the occasion? never been before but always wanted to go myself lol. My son adores chocolate, but dont know what else is involved in the day ie. would there be enough to keep him entertained or would he find it boring? no idea what to expect. Thanks in advance x

It's ok - but VERY expensive for a couple of hours, and the so called discount shop was always more expensive than woolies!

in my opinion i wouldnt. i have been before - and as much as i enjoyed the chocolate factory bit - there is a very long winded story about the history of cadbury (think john cadbury or summat) on the tour - i found it boring and i was 17 - there is a lot of standing around on the tour - although i would take an older child i think 2 or 3 when they still arent very patient and good at holding their bladder - i would try the sea life centre or something aimed at younger children.

hope this helps
