did exactly this last year - note the hotel is about 30 min drive from Legoland... but the deal's a good one. Hotel was OK nothing to write home about.

Good price but the only date I can see that could be classed as half term is 22nd May but as with the 7th and 14th, they are Fridays, so you either miss a day at LEGOLAND or a day of school. The 17th is a Sunday, so again you either miss the 2nd day at LEGOLAND or 1 day of school.

Just found 28th May Hilton Basingstoke £128 for 4 - bargain

Does anyone of you know a good deal without staying at a hotel? We live nearby so no point to stay at any hotels

May half term?!

All of the Kellogs boxes have adults go free vouchers at the moment;

http://grownupsgofree.kelloggs.co.uk/

And if you want 2 days, they I think then sell "come back tomorrow" tickets for not much (£5-10). Not sure how that works with the vouchers though - you might want to call up and check.

None of these dates are during half-term!

Couldn't pay me (proof have Merlin Passes) to take my family through that again. Can't comment on hotel but legoland is so dated and just can't cope with holidays and to top it off.....Its rubbish. ( 2yr old and 7yr old)

Can you elaborate on why it was rubbish? Did your kids not enjoy legoland?

Yes I agree - it is dated now plus its now a victim of its own success. queues are a nightmare, food is over priced and the "magic" has gone

Just got back from legoland on Tuesday, car park £5, kids £43 and adult £48
Not much to do really except rides, you queue up for long.
I only went on the atlantis submarine ride, and got the train back up the hill, to shop in the big shop.
that was it for me and the little one, not much to do except rides, but the have little kids play area too,

whats the welcome pack??

Is anyone else having problems with the website?. Have tried to book but I get no online confirmation, it just goes straight back to the homepage. I have no email confirmation. Have tried to ring them but they aren't there at moment so unsure if it has gone through or not :0(

I booked my break through a website called play and stay as the deals had been removed from the Lego site therefore price had shot up. Go this week 2 days in Legoland and over night stay 2 adults 2 kids £150.

For Legoland we used vouchers/ points from Tesco 2years ago, I think is 4x exchange so is worth to do it. We all enjoyed our day in Legoland (one wasn't enough) but I have to agree - queues are nightmare.

shame Lego land is overpriced, run down, massive queues, nightmare to get to using public transport.

If its the same as we got 3 years ago, ours was just a kids 'fun pack' with a few colouring books and crayons. Not even Lego branded or anything, rather cheap really.

That was a Legoland Holidays booking, staying at a Holiday Inn Express at Slough, which was about 10 minutes drive form Legoland.

When we went, we enjoyed it, and whilst it was busy, it wasn't too busy, and that was during a June Half Term. You really need two days there, to allow for possible queues, so you can go on tings you may have missed on day 1.

Would love to go back, but living in Newcastle, its a mini holiday for us to travel down to Windsor, and last time, we had two day park tickets, but stayed for 3 nights.

Thanks op. Booked 2 days tickets & 2 nights at the Copthorne Slough Windsor for £344.71 (2 adults & 2 kids). This includes free hotel parking & breakfast. Careful when choosing the hotel - not all include free parking! Also be aware that if paying by credit card a 2% fee is applied! This is not made clear although it is in the terms & conditions (which you have to click a link to see).

I booked a trip for half term, however mayneed to cancel/ reschedule dates. Trouble finding phone no to do this?
