Surely giving them a pedal bike would be more beneficial. But on a serious note it is society's fault that we have overweight people, in the first world they fill Most foods with sugar, until recently most drinks where full of sugar and many still are, junk food is sold all around us, plus all this stuff is advertised on tv including fast food such as KFC, you also go to a new hospital and they will happily wheel a trolley round the wards selling chocolate bars and cans of fizzy drinks.
Now for real 650cc deals please ffs

Everyone should be responsible for themselves regardless of the temptations, I am at a healthy weight, I have many takeaways and a local Tesco Express store next to where I live, also an Ice Cream van who visits my road daily. Then again I have a mother who taught me about proper food.

I had a mother who did not teach me about healthy food, everything we eat was cooked in lard or fat, cheap lemonade, crisps and 20pence for the local sweet shop was a regular thing, it was that diet that has now put me off mist sugary foods and drinks, I myself am probably not considered over weight at 78kg but as I say it is mainly living in the first world that cause obesity. Society encourages poor diet.

How dare you blame society for the choices individuals make, perhaps a small amount of self control and discipline would have stopped the vast majority of people becoming obese. IT IS OUR CHOICES that make us what we are, take some responsibility for your actions.
Why has a deal on kids toy turned into a fatty bashing thread?

Why do people care how others live their lives?

Because my hard earned taxes are being swallowed up (excuse the pun) by the NHS treating obesity etc.
