It's just another day at school for West London teenagers Trife (Aml Ameen) Jay (Adam Deacon) and Moony (Femi Oyeniran): beatings in the classroom, sex on the playing field and drugs in the schoolyard. But things are about to flip sharply for this tight trio and their crowd. With school cancelled following the tragic suicide of bullied pupil Katie, the teenagers are all forced to face their own responsibilities and blame for the situations they have got themselves into.

Compared by critics to Larry Clark's Kids and even the Brazilian drama City Of God, Menhaj Huda's debut is a shocking portrayal of British youth.

Ordered yesterday, I hope its a good transfer

Had to watch this for media studies. Absolute rubbish. Chavs wish their lives were as 'interesting' as depicted.

its ok as a tv movie i guess. Its pretty unrealistic though and horribly overated. And I think I hate how this sort of fake london black gangs storyline has crept into eastenders and the bill. mtv/c4's dubplate drama did this better. And on blu ray? I cant think of one good reason you would need to see/own this on blu ray. my lickal gun driller

THANK YOU. SO unrealistic I nearly burst out laughing when I walked out of the cinema with people commenting on how they could 'relate' to the film and that it was 'on a level' what utter ****!

Personally thought it was a pretty good film, not sure if the public schoolboys above got it though

Im not a public school boy lol. I was born and raised in Manchester Moss side, cheetham hill and Gorton housing estates. But moved out in 2000 to live in derbyshire. I get the film, but it isnt realistic.
