Good transfer as with most Tarantino releases!

Kill Bill: Volume 1
The acclaimed fourth film from groundbreaking writer and director Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill Volume 1 stars Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu and Vivica A. Fox in an astonishing, action-packed thriller about brutal betrayal and an epic vendetta! Four years after taking a bullet in the head at her own wedding, the bride (Thurman) emerges from a coma and decides it's time for payback... with a vengeance. Having been gunned down by her former boss (David Carradine) and his deadly squad of international assassins, it's a kill-or-be-killed fight she didn't start but is determined to finish! Loaded with explosive action and outrageous humour, it's a must-see motion picture event that had critics everywhere raving!

Kill Bill: Volume 2
With this thrilling, must-see movie event, writer and director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction) completes the action-packed quest for revenge begun by The Bride (Uma Thurman) in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Having already crossed two names from her death list, The Bride is back with a vengeance and taking aim at Budd (Michael Madsen) and Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah), the only survivors from the squad of assassins who betrayed her four years earlier. It's all leading up to the ultimate confrontation with Bill (David Carradine), The Bride's former master and the man who ordered her execution. As the acclaimed follow-up to the instant classic Vol. 1 - you know all about the unlimited action and humour, but until you've seen Kill Bill Vol. 2 you only know half the story!

Already got the blu rays but this is worth every penny. Heat added.

Does this include the so called "uncut" scenes which is in full colour, not black and white?

Well, I guess I am as well now. (Probably, this is very tempting though)

Not really a great deal unless steel books are your thing, I bought the Tarantino XX boxset from amazon last week for £38 which includes both kill bills plus 6 other films plus the mondo artwork looks pretty sweet.

This was the first steelbook I ever bought. Not because I collect them, but because both films are in one case, and it was cheaper than buying Vol 1 and 2 in standard Amarays. Seem to recall I got one of the last few and it went out of stock.

How come back in stock? Do they issue more of these "Exclusive Limited Editions"?!

Simply the greatest and Uma never disappoints and neither does the music.

All gone, now reads sold out.

They're 'Zavvi exclusive steelbooks' not official ones, so I guess Zavvi just run off another batch when they want a few more quid from the steelbook collectors.

SOLD OUT.

Can still get the standard non-steelbook for the same price.... :-/

Utter crap films, style over substance. Hot deal though.

The world needs style as well.

I'd rather watch a stylish film with no substance, than a film with no style and no substance - which is the majority of Hollywood's current big budget output.

Anyone got recommendation for films with style and substance? Or are the two mutually exclusive?!?

Sold out now. Grr

Two of my fave movies, only reason I've never purchased on BD was because I've been waiting for the long rumoured 'The Whole Bloody Affair' version. Really do hope they release it as a collectors boxset including all previously released special features plus some exclusive ones not previously released.

That's a shame if true. I'd certainly go to watch it at the cinema. Must say these movies are crying out to have something like a Criterion release. I've been very disappointed with the almost bare bones releases on BD.
