Killing Eve centers on two women: Eve is a bored, whip-smart, security services operative whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy. Villanelle is a talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her. Killing Eve topples the typical spy thriller as these women, obsessed with each other, go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.

Why on earth would you pay for this when it is free on Iplayer? Buying this is like throwing money in the bin.

Yep still there....
If you all like this which I did, then try watching a programme called Luther. I’m on season 2 now and it’s fantastic!
Not sure if they are still there but these were free on the iPlayer not so long ago

Season 1 was certainly on prime a bit ago, it's whether you loved it enough to warrant having it for rewatching when isn't on streaming
Great series.
Can’t find the HD versions? Only the £3.99 ones which I assume are SD

Seen the HD option appears when you select to buy it
This is a good tv show. Jodie comer is brilliant.

If you only ever watch a show once then fair play, but it won't stay on iplayer forever if it is not a bbc show

It is a BBC show.

But yes, I expect with Brit Box subscriptions it will move across to their in future. Great show. Not sure I'd watch it twice though.

I've no TV licence and I'd rather pay £10 just this once for a select TV series than £150 on a licence that is the worst value for money out there.
This turned out to be a load of rubbish.

Personally I think it is fair value for money. It helps if you have a broad range of interests though I suppose.
Loved the first season. 2nd was good but it could have been better if they'd just decided to wrap up the show at the end. Always a shame when the drag tv shows out because the quality always dips.

Guess you won't like the spin off series then, "Killing Steve"

Some people don't pay for a licence. Some people would say the TV licence is like throwing money in the bin.

I'd stop at the end of series 3
Awful series, terrible acting, don’t bother, it’s a bag of shjte!
but why doesn't jodie comer pronounce her name properly?
Anyone seen the sequel Killing Day?

A strong opinion for a multi award winning series.
Please don't pay for these.... I watched them for free on iPlayer. No doubt Netflix will have them as some point too (if you already pay for Netflix) but it is a great show!
I don't pay for a TV licence so don't get iplayer. So this is a good way for me to watch it. Had Google Credit to use up. Thanks OP. Heat.

Is it not a BBC America show? (Series (not season!) 2 was aired there first). Is it still classed as a BBC show , if the case?

Yeah. If Phoebe Waller Bridge is still involved, how much interest/time will she have to put into it, with her new found luvvie fame?
Nice series but not as good as the best show ever, Dexter!

Agreed. It's three different things at once. A broad bbc office based comedy about spies, a serial killer drama and an audition tape for jodie comers career.

The first 5 minutes of the first episode are a BBC sitcom, with the spies joking about with having a hangover. I thought I was watching the wrong programme. The action sequences are pretty poor particularly one sequence in a nightclub and another sequence with spies firing machine guns in the Forest of Dean being really badly executed.

Don't get me wrong some of it is great, mainly the Comer scenes, but some of it was so cheap it made me cringe. HBO or Netflix making it with the same principal cast would have made something miles better.

I think the critics saw bits they liked, and turned a blind eye to the parts they didn't like.

Indeed, but I prefer not to be influenced by other so called critics and make up my own mind.

Story is badly written in a silly manner, and both Oh’s character and acting are shambolic and the whole thing is an unbelievable mess.

Completely agree!, and Oh’s character is feeble and pathetic, zero strength to her....and the acting, oh my word!!. Star Wars acting is better and that’s saying something!

Funny that as Comer has a small role in Rise of Skywalker!
