Killzone 3

Killzone 3 picks up where its predecessor left off and it's a much grander experience in terms of scale and ambition. There will be more variety, more enemy types, massive environments and a broader vision of the planet Helghan and its many terrains.

Developed by Guerrilla Games, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Killzone 3 is the latest title in the Killzone franchise, bringing the most robust first-person shooter experience exclusively for the PS3.

Following on the heels of the highly acclaimed Killzone 2, players will once again face the hostile Helghast army, battling overwhelming odds in the fight for human survival. Killzone 3 delivers the definitive cinematic sci-fi war experience with an immersive single-player campaign as well as full featured multiplayer action in the war against the Helghast.

Players will be tasked with utilizing a host of new weapons and vehicles in the battle for human survival. Helghast variety is now greater than ever, with players facing jetpack troopers as well as enemies wielding weapons of mass destruction. Killzone 3 thoroughly explores the planet Helghan, showcasing a wide breadth of destructible environments and stunningly detailed scenery.

Additionally, players will be tasked with utilizing a host of new weapons and vehicles in the war to stop the Helghast. Featuring an extensive single-player campaign and thrilling multi-player mode, Killzone 3 delivers a host of new gameplay elements and an intense storyline that will once again drive gamers to join the ranks of the ISA and fight the Helghast.

Bit poor online at the moment both of these, no-one seems to be playing either!!!

lol

No PSN, no deal

You could play both of these single player for about a week before PSN comes on, I don't see why you're moaning about the deal not being great.

Judge the deal for what it is!

Hot. 2 good exclusives. Socom doesn't deserve the hate it gets...

Surely whether SOCOM being worth £25 is the point? It's got more crap reviews than any other AAA title I can remember, so there's no way I'd invest in that pack. RIght now, I'm not sure I'd want to buy into any serious MP games over PSN

Please show me and fellow members where one can currently get Killzone 3 for £25.

Game, Gamestation and Gameplay no longer have Killzone 3 for £25, it is now available for £39.99.
Amazon have no longer price matched the aforementioned retailers and have it available for £31.50.

ShopTo and TheGameCollection have it (to my knowledge) for the cheapest at the £26-£27 mark.

Alternatively you can get the collector's edition for ~£27 from ShopTo though there is a wait:

Again please share.

No PSN, no deal

So this is not a deal whilst PSN is temporarily down?
I don't understand the logic.

Feel free to help me understand but frankly I couldn't care.
What I do care about is trying to help fellow members get the cheapest deal on something so if at least 1 person benefits I'm sound.

Do you think you can get these games cheaper (be it separately or together) once PSN is restored?

But yeah...
PSN downz lololololololololololol!!!
Can I get likes nao?

Happy gaming,

You could get half a days play out of killzone's campaign, then your left with bot matches. No idea on SOCOM though, but that is also a heavily focused MULTIPLAYER game.

This is an OK deal, considering the recent price cuts on killzone, which will most likely continue. Socom price is half decent, but i expect an upcoming price cut on that due to retailers not being able to shift enough during the PSN outage.

Two mediocre games in one package. Socom II > Socom 4; also Killzone 2 > Killzone 3.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

At the end of the day the method you have described requires considerable effort, which whilst appealing when things go smoothly hold an equal potential of going sour.

Others may rather not deal with that and either buy Killzone 3 separately or this bundle with Socom: Special Forces.

Add £10 more from the HMV purchase and you can eliminate the need to shift the extra tat alongside Killzone 3 and have Socom 4.

Reviews for Socom indeed have been mixed and will factor in when it'll eventually drop in price, but to get it for £25 and to play it before such price drop, I think, is not too bad.

It is for those reasons I bothered posting this deal up.
Again I hope at least 1 HUKD member has benefited from it by saving a bit from otherwise buying the games separately.

Happy gaming,
Scar
