Stopped off at my local BIshops Waltham Budgens and this caught my eye so i bought 8 just to relive the good old days. Shortly after 3 though and I now feel ill. Great fun putting together the toys though!

I think they're clearing old Easter stock because there were loads of Creme Eggs on the same shelf, pretty good for Kinder Eggs to be 25p each I thought.

Yummy.

creepy, this is how i was when i saw the deal in the first place

Kinda overpriced normally methinks. Good deal at this price. Now if only there was a Budgens near me.

kinder eggs are awesome!

these eggs used to have some really good toys/ gadgets in em when i was young..

these days it's just a load of tosh in there.. like a statue of a plastic hippo singing. or a very small car. not the type of thing we got which was a challenge in itself to 'put together'.

moaning over.
blimmin good find. pity there's no budgens close to me.

I love Kinder Eggs! Great price too
My brother won a giant crocodile teddy in a Kinder competition years ago, I was so jealous...
It was so big I could fit in the box with room to spare.

kinder eggs are rubbish now, you dont get to make anything its a single solid figure inside

Really? Most of the toys i've found recently i've had to make. They are not as good as they used to be...but I still keep finding the make your own ones I normally give them a shake before I decide which one to buy!

i disagree, i thought that was the case but when i opened mine up i found a boat i could make and a weird ghost wearing a scuba kit riding a tortoise :?
maybe they were only 4 or 3 pieces each but yeah still not as 'complex' as they used to be.

yeah agree with others, Kinder used to be great, toys that has decent complexity that needs to be put together, actually needs to read the instructions, so it presents a bit of a challenge for kids/adult lol at that age, but now even Kinder seems to follow the "dumbing down of Britain" trend unfortunately, most of the boxes I see in supermarkets are just statues etc on the box...

still overpriced for what you get!
