Don't you just hate those people that Google a deal immediately in order …Don't you just hate those people that Google a deal immediately in order to say you can get it 5p cheaper somewhere else? Seriously pathetic .....

No, as long as they share where they found it cheaper That's the whole point.

Do you mean me? Not exactly a 'deal' if cheaper elsewhere. Do your homework first.
As it happens I was actually looking earlier this evening for chocolate bargains like the Lindt deer as I have 20+ kids to buy a little something for.

Don't think value has anything to do with it.

Hate? lol. Didnt find it cheaper? put a calculator on your Christmas list.

The individual kinder Santa is reduced at Tesco from £2.50 to £1.50.
The person is correct that if you buy 12 of those at £1.50 it will cost you a total of £18.
Which is cheaper than buying the multi pack of 12.
There is nothing negative about that and there is no "they" it was one poster offered the alternative. The hot and cold buttons are there because not everyone will agree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but all heads up on deals are appreciated. If you had not posted it originally none of us would know about either option

Not yet. Still actively looking. I'll let you know if I spy anything. Wanted to get something other than the standard 'shrinking' large tube of Smarties if possible.

Oh that would be brill thank you

I did . . and it was available at the time. It's sold out online now but should be the same price in store if anyone wants to get one.

It wasn't , the link posted takes you to mysupermarket which shows prices but not stock .
Its not in stock in many stores either.

That it wasn't available for you doesn't mean it isn't available for others.

The deliveries for groceries depend on what is available at the larger store that does the deliveries for your LOCAL area, it doesn't reflect other stores. That's why you must sign in or provide a postcode before you get to choose your groceries.

The post with the link to my supermarket was I expect posted to illustrate the savings / value. It does not mean they didn't check the stock at the time in Tesco just that they didn't link to it.

If it's available locally for someone they can get it at the cheaper price if it isn't they can get it online with your link. An alternative option doesn't devalue yours. There are two options, both good value as availability and quantity differ. Someone took the time to let us know about the Tesco option and even if it helps a few it's worthwhile. Not everyone needs 20!
