Kindle Back in Stock at Tesco Direct £59.00 (With Code)

Found 2nd Dec 2012
Been keeping an eye on the Kindle in many places as most have run out of stock recently, and I never got the chance to grab one from Tesco before they run out.

Code is for new members only (cough, new email, cough), and is £10 off first spend over £50, which as the Kindle is originally priced at £69.00, meets this criteria. Valid until 13th of January so if you're not buying it as a Christmas gift, you could buy it for yourself at Christmas with your Christmas pennies your aunties and uncles gave you!

Code is TDX-KJPW (Thanks to BOGTF for posting).

Awesome, I might want one of these to read at work in my breaks but need to wait until the end of January to see if I still have my job lol, otherwise it's pointless me buying one :P
Good price - really excellent device.. Grab a copy of caliber (its free)... it allows you to put other types of ebooks that youve purchased elsewhere onto your kindle.
Ordered! Many Thanks
great. Thanks
good price
It will only let me collect from store, and only stores arein England- Wrexham and Chester etc. I live in Belfast, any ideas?!
Thanks a lot
Code is for 'new members', do you mean new to ordering from Tesco online ? I ordered from them about 5 years ago, but nothing since. How do I become a new customer to get the ten pounds discount? I also have club card vouchers, could I double them up on this offer aswell?
you would need to set up anew account with a new email address so you can use the code
Thanx, I'll do that tomorrow
Nice Price...
Hot. Thanks!
hot thanks
Out of stock
Forget my last comment... for some reason it's back in stock now! Hot
Good price but just a head's up. You can buy the 64GB Blackberry Playbook for about £120 these days. There's a free Kindle app you can download that functions perfectly ie mirrors what a Kindle does. Bigger screen too.

OK more expensive but it does so much more, this £59 could be a great down payment on something 100 times better.
Bought thanks :-)

I just ordered one for pick up in Coleraine without a problem and had a choice of other N.I. stores.

PS Thanks OP.
Fair price now with the price of new Kindle HD falling rapidly.
It,s about time the humble kindle was priced a lot lower. People here also know Tesco are not the best in the land for honouring deals (stock issues, site price glitches or codes.
Pity you have to register another email account to get this order.
Kindle can be bought from another major retailer with a 2 year warranty from John Lewis (is offer still valid) but only instore i think.
still good spot though .
Hopefully price will fall b4 xmas
My kindle keyboard broke, is this just gona break aftre a year too?
Got one these a month ago, brilliant for reading daily and battery life I've been using daily for over an hour a day and still not had to recharge it.... Playbook /FIRE Etc may last 10 -14 hrs on one charge. IF all you want is a book reader a dedicated one is the way to go.

I think he is meaning the Playbook is not easy on the eyes like the Kindle to read for extended readings.

I'm always torn on the Kindle readers. On one hand I'd like one but when I see the price of N7 and other tablets I think why not spend the extra money to get a device with more options. Argh.

This was one of the first things I did on my Playbook

I now have a lifetime's worth of books on it

Heavier though than a kindle

I wouldn't really need both but at this price....
It does not say, is this the one that has the light with it ?

your kindle may be repairable, may i ask where did you buy your keyboard kindle? if it broke just outside of year warranty you may still be covered by 2 year european warranty.
i bought one 3 nearly years ago as gift and still going strong.
