Amazon have the non-3G Kindles in stock this morning & are promising delivery before 24th if you choose First Class delivery.

Yesterday they were showing as only available for pre-order, with delivery after 25th

it's not a deal it's more a heads up than anything ....still free P&P ...still £109.99

Isn't this the DEALS section? If it's just a heads up, and it's [i]barely[i] that, it should be in the misc section.

Come on, an RRP with no extras or offers attached, on here is crowded enough without this.

Sorry if everybody feels that I shouldn't have posted this, but they're impossible to get hold of (a la Wii 2/3 years ago).

It's not a deal as such I know, & it's not free P&P as they'll only guarantee christmas delivery if you choose First Class post, but I thought I'd post it for all those people who thought they wouldn't be able to get one in time for Christmas

cartoony1

...they're impossible to get hold of...

No, they're not, as you've proved. This shouldn't be in deals.

..It's their first post...and maybe it shouldnt be under deals, but come on people give them a break. Rather than give them grief...support them - this is supposed to be a community after all!

thats great to know. my friend has been wanting to get one.

a good heads up....................

Good luck getting it for Xmas from Amazon. I've been waiting nearly 4 weeks for a delivery from them. Crap company to deal with when there's a query & they expect you to chase it with HDNL when it's taking time.

Only guarantee for Xmas, would be if you can find it in stock with John Lewis.

Recently got mine from amazon took 2 days to deliver. If anyone is going to buy you can get 3 points per £1 spent with nectar.

I ordered one on Thursday knowing it would not arrive in time for Xmas... I wonder if that means things have changed now...

Edit... No. So I can't even change my delivery option now. Bummer.

Although Amazon stated prior to ordering that they would guarantee delivery before Christmas [Not even the weather would cause issue]. Following my order I received another e-mail stating that although they would try and delivery before 25th Dec. This would be unlikely due to the weather !!

I'm going to contact them to ask for a P&P refund.

Thanks for posting.

I was set to get it on the 24th. But the whether has put a stop to that. thanks for the heads-up heat added

epic fail
