According to CamelCamelCamel this is as low as the Paperwhite has been - I've been wondering about upgrading my old nook for a while and this ia the right price for me

same screen as the oasis and voyager, they do have some more bells and whistles though.

New – With twice as many pixels as the previous generation, the Kindle Paperwhite has an improved high-resolution 300 ppi display for crisp, print quality text.

If I sign up for the free 1 month prime trial, would that allow me to get today's prime only deals?

Yes:)
Why are people voting cold. Guessing throwing their toys out of their pram for not being a prime member. Black Friday this was 25% off and now it's 30%. £87 previously and at other companies now. hmmmm I am not a rocket scientist, but this is a deal. Have some heat.
it must be all the leave voters.

It makes me laugh. Cold votes from non-Prime members because it doesn't apply to them. There must be thousands of Prime members on HUKD, but the deals go cold. Yet, limited stock local store only offers which must benefit all of 3 people if you're lucky, get heat!

Must be the sheer numbers of deals that's putting people off.

This or a normal kindle guys, what are your thoughts? I only read on holiday so im thinking id only need the standard

The backlight is even brilliant in sunshine as it makes the already readable text even better.

May also be partly due to the fact that a lot of us managed to pick them up from Tesco on-line a couple of months ago for £39...albeit it was a price mistake but Tesco honoured it...I know this for definite as I bought 2 of them then...

Admittedly I'm also not sure if the cold votes are partly due to a) those that don't have prime being a bit p'd off with loads of prime deals being posted and b) those that do have prime getting p'd off with loads of prime deals being posted....think it's often the case on HUKD...you're damned if you do and damned if you don't and there is absolutely no rhyme nor reason a lot of time for deals being voted hot or cold...maybe depends on which way the wind is blowing at the time.

I've posted a few Blu-Ray/DVD Boxsets today that are definitely cheaper than anywhere else at the moment and still several of them are getting voted cold but as they say there's nowt stranger than folk
Cheapest price I've seen this. Ordered one for the other half
Probably voting cold because up until last week this was £79.99 at Currys (advert free).
I've got one, worth every penny of £79.99.
Love mine and good price, heat
Don't forget the £7.99 add on.

If anyone cares you can just ask customer services to remove the ads and they will do it for free no questions asked, so don't buy the ad-free version

If you could find stock anywhere...which hardly anyone could.
Was a good price. Just paid £109 from Argos for one for the hols. Did get a £10 voucher back though, as over £100 spent. Also bought the case from Argos for £10 saving £4 off the normal price for that as I bought it together with the kindle.
