I bought when it was £104 less than a month ago... Amazon really need to stop teasing people with full prices and then variable discounts.. It annoys people like myself who have not had it a month and the price is 10% cheaper! I could make an excuse and send it back and reorder at the lower price, but that to me is unethical.

If they can afford to sell it for £94, then thats the price it should always be as they must still be making a profit on them. Am I missing something? (edited)

Just a matter of time before the colour versions appear. And we'll all be moaning that we didn't wait.

Good price for the regular PaperWhite, let alone the Kids version. Hot.
Good buy even for adults, given the extra year warranty and cover.

God forbid they choose to have a sale.

Amazon hardware is on offer so regularly I’d honestly say it’s the customer’s fault for paying full price.

Think how Amazon works, they increase and decrease prices based on their algorithm. But like with any tech prices naturally should go down...

I expect this do be around £75-80 on prime day... (edited)

Thanks OP - looked thoroughly into this now, thanks to your post, and bought one to replace my wife's. Cheaper than the Paperwhite, plus a case, and no ads.

    Also 2.5% Topcashback.

And, I discover, if you start the trade-in process you get immediate access to that 20% discount voucher plus a gift voucher, so no need to wait before buying at today's price.

In my case (really old Kindle) £24 off, bringing the price right down to £71 - and a bit of TCB on top of that.

Thanks OP, got one too. I would have never look for the Kids edition without this post. Instead of TCB, I've gone via British Airways eStore (Shopping) instead. 3 Avios per £1 at the moment.

I have a year of Amazon Kids+ from one of these which I bought last month. Does anyone know, if I buy this would it add on to give me an additional 12 months or does it run concurrently?

This was bought for my wife and she loves the free cover that comes with it. It’s set up so that it can be used either for her own books or for those on the one year trial. The video’s very helpful.

How did you get the discount? I've started a trade in but no discount yet.

That’s odd. After the final screen of the return process it generated an email and a £5 credit. The 20% discount was automatically applied, so that as soon as you added a Kindle the discount was already applied.
