The Kobo Aura H2O also features a 6.8" screen, the biggest of all the current popular e-readers, with a similar resolution to the kindle Voyage (£169) but lower pixel density due to the larger screen. The lighting is also very good apparently, comparable with the kindle voyage, although there are complaints of colour tints on some of the Kindle Voyage's.

File compatibility is better on Kobo's, as they support the standard ePub files, and they have integrated Pocket support for sending articles from the internet to the reader, which is also possible on kindle, but requires a higher degree of setup. The main downside to the Kobo H2O is performance, the processor can struggle with PDF files, and it may not be quite as responsive as the Voyage, According to my research.

So £139 may seem a lot for the Kobo Aura H2O, but for one of the best screens on the market, combined with decent waterproofing, it's not that bad, especially when compared to the Kindle Voyage at £169
