It's in store only (you can reserve & collect at the link above), so unfortunately you don't get cashback.

In store only

beat me to it

Great deal!

Does anyone know when this deal finishes?

Looks like it's the 2012 Paperwhite model, not the latest one which is still at £109

hard gettin hold of 1 rang 3 stores 2 didint even check just sed no even tho i was told system was showing they had them by the 1st store!

Can't you pay online for it and pick it up instore?

Anyone any idea if you can get student discount on these?

Only in stock Cardiff or Llandudno, great deal if can get one.

Great for the PaperWhite Wi-Fi. Is it the brand new designed one which is just recently been released?

the PaperWhite seems to be the old model since it says "Published: 25/10/2012"

My Kindle Keyboard is now almost 3 yrs old..... I wish it would pack up so I've got an excuse to buy a new one. Even the battery doesn't seem to have lost any capacity.
Bought the Nook when they were £29, but I don't like it compared to the Kindle.

Only 3 years old...I have had my Cybook Gen 3 for over 5 years and still going strong, with only a change of battery a year or so ago.
Sometimes wish it would pack up so I can get a new toy....but see no huge improvement in newer ereaders to warrent changing for change sake.

Same price as amazon and tesco.

these are going cheap because the newer HDX has just come out. I'd always get the latest model for a few extra quid more personally, but each to their own.

Same here. I'm waiting for them to start using colour e-ink before upgrading.

Quite clearly it states on the website "Kindle Sale - save up to £60 on older models" but no issues here. I am an ipad owner but Fire model is steal at £89 & so is the Paperwhite (I have the older model & it's excellent) IF you can get hold of one.
I personally don't like the sneaky advertising screensaver which you cannot delete but you are saving on the full price. In the US they make it quite clear that the ads are present or you can pay extra for an ad-free version.
Either way it should be made clear what you're getting at the point of sale otherwise there should be an option to delete it.
In any case this is a scorching deal.

and they don't do Cashback on Kindles anyway "Cashback is not available on Kindles, eBooks or downloadable audio books."

but.... you could swipe yourself 10p! "Earn 10p when you check in to a Waterstones store"

Well exactly - just shows how behind the old models are, not like with iphones where there's hardly any difference between 5 and 5s.

I got a kindle for for £99 from Amazon direct.

amazon is offering £30 discount on refurb Fire HD's from certified resellers £79 total. Also, Amazon will periodically email you £20 off Kindles vouchers. Also, you can buy in Euro at a cheaper price from Amazon.fr:p

Not being argumentative for the sake of it, but there really is a significant difference between the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s ... But that's a different discussion. I felt that you belittled the price differential between the old and the new Kindle models. I wouldn't call £170 a 'few quid', but then I am relatively frugal when it comes to money. I only have one tablet, one phone and one e-reader.

Peace

I'd say kindles are pretty much pointless... why would you buy a tablet that dictates you only purchase content from them? but that's just my opinion, each to their own.

Went into Waterstones the other day to buy a 16gb Kindle Fire HD at £119 and the nice lady said we only have the 32gb version left but she said "hang on. I think....yes as I thought." She scanned the 32gb HD and it came up as £119. Bought straight away. Worth checking to see if this is nationwide.

It's not advertising as such. More branding. Advert would be had it been detailing a specific offer, product or website which it doesn't. Also the information in the stores does mention the Waterstones screensaver, sorry if you missed it.
