Seems a very good price for a memory foam topper, I've used one for two years and sleep far better.

This won't be as good as a memory foam mattress... but it's a far cheaper alternative.

Could cold voters please point out the cheaper deals for us all to benefit from?

Hope it helps someone

Cold because it is paper thin.

Hmmm sorry but have to agree. I think unless you have 2 inches thickness (as a topper) it won't work very well at all. That's why this is half the price of a normal topper as it's half the thickness. Bit of a con really.

Haven't voted but be aware this is only 3cm thick (only 1 inch) --- this might be a reasonable alternative if you want something thicker... amazon.co.uk/gp/…240

3 cm does seem very thin, will wait for the people that bought one to post their reviews!

Cut it in half and use it as a 6cm topper for a single bed

I'm sure the one I have on my bed is 3cm and it's definately an improvement. That said, I used to have a thicker one on my old bed and it was definately better.

Depends how much you want to spend really

All depends on the condition of the mattress underneath it, if bumpy lumpy etc this won't be much good.

Great deal and the cheapest I've seen anywhere so heat and rep gladly added.

3cm appeals as I don't want a foam mattress that is so deep I get trapped in it as it forms round me like Han Solo's carbon freeze in The Empire Strikes Back.

As others have mentioned - Cheap and thin - if it is what you want I guess its OK but not a particlularly hot deal IMO. Voted warm for price only for a king size but too thin to make much real difference

Ordered, H&R added - Thanks Op

I think after reading the advice here I will order a 2" one from Amazon that gets good reviews.

2" seems like a good trade-off when I'm worried a 3" might make me too hot after reading this occasional complaint. My other worry is getting sheets to fit!

Worth mentioning that memory foam has quite a distinctive chemical smell to it. Fades with time but don't think I could sleep on one. My son loves his but I can't even step in his room without getting a headache...

good find, rep added, thanks
was looking at this one
Double Size Memory Foam Mattress Topper 7cm deep 75kg density, would the one at amazon be the same density do you think?

already have a memory foam mattress topper for the last 5 years, even tho we bought a £500 new mattress we find that you get a good nights sleep with the memory form mattress on top, and ours cost a lot of money then compared to now :-)

Won't work - Kingsize = 5', Single = 3'

Correct me if I'm wrong but surely this one ]HERE from Amazon is a better deal, £29.99 + £6.99 shipping but includes a free inflatable neck pillow (RRP £6.99)?

good find, got one this afternnon

by the way, the king size is 160cm wide which is a Euro sie king size (might be why they are on offer), suits me perfect as we have an Ikea bed, and 160cm is usually imposssible to find !

Have to agree with this. I bought a 1" one, it was so thin it made no real difference. My sister ended up having it. Bought a 3" one off a certain auction site and have never had a better night's sleep in all my life. The only problem I have now is never wanting to get out of bed!

out of stock online :x

:giggle::)

Anyone know where i can get a 3" single one? Cheap of course :santa:

Really can't decide 2" or 3"

I'm 6ft and 11st (last time I checked!) so my weight is quite well spread.

nice find for a childs bed.

2" would be my preference as that is what we have on our foam topped mattress. if you go too thick it may be too warm and you will sink too much into it but 2 or 3 probably fine - definitely no more than that though

I'd check out Amazon - they had some very good value toppers which ranged from 1" to 3" (with everything in between .... erm that's 2")

They were as cheap if not cheaper than focus and some had velour covers which is handy for washing and stops you sinking into the mattress quite as much in my experience.
