Cheapest yet, I believe. If you have not played this I highly recommend it and also if you have not played the series, I still highly recommend this one! Personally, loved it to bits.

Kingdom Hearts III on PlayStation 4, is the long awaited sequel in the Square Enix and Disney RPG series.

Coming to Sony’s fantastic PS4 is the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3, the twelfth instalment and adaptation of the franchise. Incorporating fascinating worlds and characters of Disney along with Final Fantasy and other Kingdom Hearts characters, this high-fantasy game will not disappoint gamers on a quest for adventure.Taking place directly after the final events in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, protagonist Sora is joined by his companions Donald and Goofy as they search for the seven guardians of light and the Key to Return Hearts. Face combat and quests with well-known characters, and some brand-new ones, as you travel across magical worlds with the classic trio to ultimately end Master Xehanort’s evil plan.

The worlds that appear in Kingdom Hearts 3 consist of new and old, perfectly blended so that you will always have a varied mix of locations. Some of these include Kingdom of Corona, Big Hero 6, Mount Olympus and the highly anticipated Toy Story, all of which you can visit and interact with much-loved personalities.Published by Japanese video game developer Square Enix, Kingdom Hearts 3 blends wild creativity along with interesting gameplay that has been established throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. Continuing from Kingdom Hearts 2, the main character Sora boasts once again the advantage of multiple allies, forms and combat styles in his quest to eliminate Master Xehanort that first appeared in previous games.

Am I the only one who finds the cover art more than a little crappy.MM

I see a lot of effort put into it tbh. Much better than lazy arts you'd see for other games.

Sorry mixmxi I should have emphasized that it is the composition that is not quite right (no golden ratio standard here) the artwork itself is lovely just not front cover material with the framing and placement of the logo/text being all wrong!

I stress this is not a dig at your deal or the game, just something I have observed and was interested in others opinions.

Please don't get me wrong. I never thought your comment is anything to do with the deal. I am a hardcore fan of this game and I thought you mean the art itself. Yeah I agree with the logo, text etc part of it. I misunderstood you. I apologise.

Always thought it was out of place.. The black logo on the deluxe edition box would look better. Think they were trying to do a similar style to the original covers.

Although, the box art is better than the Tom Hanks impression by his son!

Yes they're classics though you'd be better off getting Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far which has all the major games leading up to this one for £30. It has 5 full games and a short prologue game that you're supposed to play before 3 as well as all the story told via cutscenes from a couple of DS games, and a separate movie.

It comes out in a couple weeks: amazon.co.uk/Kin…4Q/
Worst game in the franchise
I personally loved kh3 would highly reccomend i got super addicted too it
Never played before but want to try it just for Toy Story hahaha

Cheaper by £6 at Base/TGC. Not sure I'd recommend the older games to new players, probably better off just finding out what happened up to KH3 via playthroughs/wiki and playing this instead of spending 100+ hrs on outdated games. I've sold off my remix copies in anticipation for that new bundle though as I wanna still play through KH2 properly before KH3 (nostalgia more than anything).

To enjoy it properly it's best to play at least the main two, the story of 3 isn't very newbie friendly. They don't feel outdated and unless someone specifically loves watching other people play instead, most are going to want to play themselves.

Ideally it is worth playing Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance as well. And the Prologue is obviously important.

Thanks for the headsup about base.

I'm really enjoying it so far and would definitely recommend. Some of the environments are fab!
Almost near the end. Horrible game! It has been dumbed down. It's all Pixar and there's no Final Fantasy.
KH2 was far superior.
That Skrillex Utada Hikaru song is a joy to behold. Prefer the Japanese language version though
Cheaper at base.com by a quid.

Look at the picture again, infact it does use the golden ratio (or rule of thirds). Although the composition is actually broken up into 8ths (4x2), removing the first quarter on the left you will see your golden ratio 1.6:1 (W x H). But even without GR the 8 x 4 composition is very precise to the point where it shows that the artist has taken a deliberate design decision to draw it this way, but whether or the artist uses a familiar standard or not, you should acknowledge that it is really well drawn.

A fine response however my critique was not based on how well drawn it is but rather the composition not only of the characters but the layout of the font/text/logo.

37257970-4x1da.jpg
Original landscape with centralised logo (clearly to wide for box art)

37257970-NmWcj.jpg
Cropped image with logo off centre and characters moved (strange design choice in my view)

37257970-ziMl0.jpg
Found this image, that although still Cropped and with characters moved as before the logo has been placed in the centre and therefore is much more pleasing to mine eye!

This is all personal opinion of course but I was intrigued as to others opinions.

But standards were high, so it's not all bad. Its a shame it didn't write meet many expectations, but I've heard good things too.

Yeah not all bad but the first 20 hours of the game are just filler. They just re hash the same Disney story from the movies and you don’t get to fight any of the characters just pointless heartless enemies won’t write anymore incase of spoilers.
