Found 20th May 2014
2 kingsmill 800g breads (all types) tasty, toasty, thick, medium, wholemeal, white, 50/50

or

2 x 10 large eggs

or

1 x kingsmill bread and 1 x 10 large eggs

you pays your money , you takes your choice

you know I don't know how true claims for organic/ free range, etc; are , especially when you see programmes on tv citing the same things

however, for me I want value for my hard earned money, and this deal gives me value, lol I wont even get 20 large eggs for a £1.60 in market or on a farm

the farmfoods eggs are nasty. . They stink

These eggs are from battery farmed hens, how anyone can give this heat is beyond me!

It's cheaper than usual for battery farmed eggs.

They are banned. They are now "colony" eggs. The hens have 40% morr space and have some other comforts.

If you can afford free range, great, but if you can't then colony it is!

Either way this is cheap... heat added!

Has to be free range eggs for me! still hot price.

I've never had any problem with Iceland's eggs, most of the moaning here is just people being classist about it, they 'wouldn't be seen dead in Iceland', which is a bit sad, it's about saving money, this site, not about maintaining some kind of image.

As I'm single I tend to buy the 6 free range for £1 instead of the pack of 15 caged ones, but because I'm on a budget, if it was 6 caged for 50p, I'd probably go for them. It's more that I'd not get thru 15 and don't want to buy stuff to throw it away.

Also the bread is exactly what you'd get from other supermarkets, unlike Poundland, who get special undersized loaves made by Warburton. £1.35 in Sainsbury or 2 for £1.60 here, I know where I'm going.

I think it's also 2 for 1.60 in asda

My mistake. Not that I've ever noticed much difference in the size.

Got chickens so fresh eggs every day also make my own bread, but great offer for families on a budget.

Only regret we have about moving is we no longer have space for our ladies so had to give them up.
